Well, this week marked the date where President Max Danger first acknowledged his true feelings towards The Butcher and his reign as the Extreme Legend. The President returned to his job full time and ended a Death Match, featuring Payne and Poke, before it even started. This ultimately angered the Commissioner and he has been this way all week. But global TV was not a total loss because The Butcher brought back Cody and Tomorrow Man for a One Night Only match. The match went well as both T2SF and Devilz Darkside gave their all and passed out in the effort. Unfortunately, Devilz Messenger was injured in the contest which will keep Devilz Darkside out of action for awhile. That probably adds more fuel to the hatred Max Danger has for The Butcher. Even though the match was a success, attendance probably will not rise because no one bothered to show up at the event which prompted the roster to be used as fans. Pathetic.
-|- Todays scene opens up at Tokyo International Airport. A plane flies into the airport and gets directed to let off the passengers. Its around 2:45 PM on this cloudless day. Over the loud speaker a woman is speaking Japanese telling which flights will be taking off shortly. Continental Flight 627 is called and The Butcher stands up from his seat. Tomorrow Man tells him to sit down because that isnt the flight to San Francisco. Cody, sitting across from The Butcher, reading a newspaper, folds it up and looks at the gfwa OMEGA Commissioner with disgust. -|-
Cody: Flight 647...not 627.
-|- Cody smiles and goes back to his newspaper which is written in Japanese. -|-
The Butcher Are you sure you guys have to go back to San Francisco? We do have room on the roster for you guys and Im pretty sure things will pick up once we go to Europe.
-|- Cody folds his Japanese newspaper up once again and looks at The Butcher with a serious look. -|-
Cody: Are you sure you really want us back? I mean, we did injure Devilz Messenger by accident. Arent you afraid that we might deplete your roster some more? The Butcher Im sure youll guys do fine. Like you said, it was an accident. Max knows that. Tomorrow Man: Speaking of Max Danger, are you still on good terms with him after he threatened to fire you?
Damn that Max Danger. I never really liked that bastard. Not when he was a wrestler and certainly not now. Of all the people Matt McLean could have sold the company to, why Max Danger? It was the money I tell you. McLean was always about the money and not the right thing. He should have given the GFWA to someone more responsible or just closes it down for good. At least then we wouldnt be running around Japan stinking up the place and being the laughing stock of all wrestling promotions in the country. No, we might have stayed in North America and kept the place running without any problems under someone elses care. Now weve got bad ratings, low attendance, and poor moral throughout the roster. This is killing the GFWA name! I did what I could! I brought back Cody and Tomorrow Man who put on one hell of a show. I gave the Japanese their Death Matches and now look at me. Where am I now? I would be fired if I wasnt such a likeable guy backstage. Hehthat just goes to show who really does have the power. If Max fired me at global TV he knew he wouldnt have a federation the next day. Everyone would have walked out and gone elsewhere. But Danger has these guys by the balls. They have to do what he says. Theyre all washed up if they leave now. No President in their right mind would take a guy that cant get a simple Japanese crowd to cheer for them. Im the one pulling the strings and Max Danger has to see that and I will show him.
Tomorrow Man: Butch?
-|- The Butcher comes out his deep thought and comes back to reality. -|-
The Butcher Yeah, well Max Danger can kiss my ass as of right now. Ive done nothing but good things for the company while he ran off to America to wrestle in some stupid show that isnt even on television anymore. He left me in Japan with a failing federation. A federation he ran into the ground. And now he comes back and throws this bull crap at me? This is all my fault? Give me a break! This was his motive for leaving all a long. He was just going to come back stick the gfwa OMEGAs problems up my ass and give me the bad name! Cody: Then why do you want us to join if the Front Office is at each others throats? The Butcher I wanted you guys to join in the fun of reeking up Japan.
-|- He smiles as he says it and thinks for a moment. -|-
The Butcher The REAL reason I wanted you guys to come back full time was because you are without a doubt, the greatest tag team in GFWA history. If you came aboard that would probably help out the roster because there are a lot of people out there that want a chance to beat you guys. I mean just look at what happened at global TV. Devilz Darkside picked up their game in hopes that they would beat you for the first time and a great match was created out of it. Tomorrow Man: Actually, Devilz Darkside picked up their game a long time ago but please continue with what you were saying. The Butcher Well, if whoever you faced picked up their game in hopes of beating you guys then the gfwa OMEGA would be a lot better. Cody: So what youre really saying is that you want to use us? The Butcher Thats what friends are for.
-|- The Butcher smiles as he says this, obviously joking around. Over the loud speaker the womans voice says Continental Flight 647. Cody and Tomorrow Man rise, collect their bags and begin walking towards the plane entrance. The Butcher follows to tell them to say good bye. -|-
Tomorrow Man: Listen, while were in San Francisco we will give gfwa OMEGA some thought. We arent promising that were going to join but well think about it. Cody: And if were going to join it will probably be when you guys go to Europe. Japan is such a boring place! The Butcher Yeah. I guess its the whole language barrier thing that makes this place boring. Tomorrow Man: Are you going to come visit us in the States? The country hasnt been the same without you. The Butcher Ill try to get over there once were done in Japan. If not, then youll see me at the November break. Cody: Ok, well tell that Payne dude Im sorry for falling on him. It was a soft landing, Butch. I think your guys are getting quite doughy with all of the grease these Japanese folk put in their food. Hey we better go before they fly off without the two Americans! The Butcher Later, guys! Dont forget to call.
-|- With that, Cody and Tomorrow Man go through the hallway to board the plane leaving The Butcher to his thoughts. -|-
There goes the greatest tag team in GFWA history. I dont blame them for not wanting to come back. Theyve done everything theyve wanted in the place. Plus our Tag Team Division isnt the greatest thing since sliced bread.
-|- The Butcher places his hands in his pockets and starts to walk away. He stops for a moment and gets a cold shiver. -|-
Im being watched...
-|- The Butcher looks around the airport with inquisitive eyes, trying to see if he can find anyone thats giving him a bad feeling. He doesnt see anyone around that looks suspicious so he moves on. But deep down inside he knows something is up and things are out of his control. -|-
