Last week we learned that The Butcher has frightening nightmares of his past and cannot make any sense out of them. Nothing else really happened that week except a few meetings and the normal bullshit that you have to go through as a Commissioner of a struggling federation. Now with one Global TV out of the way for the acting President all should seem wellbut it isnt. On Global TV you may have seen, The Butcher receive a make-out session from the voluptuous Denise Lopez. The Butcher, although surprised by the action, seemed to have liked the kiss from his long time crush. Maybe a flame rekindled? Well see.
-|- Today we have the opportunity to open the scene up outside a small motel just outside the limits of Tokyo. The place looks run down and the surrounding neighborhood looks like it has also been neglected. This is far from the Hyatt Regency weve been used to the past couple weeks. We go inside Room #1, the only room taken. The inside is just as destroyed as the outside with an awful smell added. We take a look around and see that nothing has really been disturbed, probably because no one would want to touch anything due to the grime which seems to cover everything. We go into the bedroom where The Butcher is just laying there starring out at nothing. -|-
She threw me out. Nikki threw me out of probably the greatest hotel in the Tokyo area just because of one kiss. Christ, I didnt want Denise to kiss mebut then again I really didnt mind it. But thats the thing that made Nikki so mad. After explaining to her what happened she wasnt that angry but still threw me out because I appeared to have liked the kiss. Anyway, Im sure this will all blow over by tomorrow I hope. Damn Im so bored.
-|- The Butcher reaches for the phone but guesses that it doesnt work so he goes into his luggage and pulls out a nice silver gfwa OMEGA cell phone. He opens it up and thinks who he should call just to pass the time.
Cody and Tomorrow Man? Theyll probably be busy. White Chocolate? Hes probably screwing some fat prostitute right now. Bronx? No point. Livewire Sean Casey? I really dont want to put up with his crap right now. Skarrphacewaityeah Phace. I havent talked to the old GFWA owner in a long time!
-|- The Butcher starts to dial a lot of numbers and holds the phone next to his ear. The phone rings once. Twice. Three times and finally someone picks up. -|-
Skarrphace: Yeah, this is 'Phace...
The Butcher: Guess who.
Skarrphace: Publisher's Clearinghouse telling me I've won a million dollars?
The Butcher: What would you do with a million dollars? That's just change in between the cushions of a sofa to you 'Phace.
Skarrphace: *laughing* What's up Butch'? How's life in the Big Apple?
The Butcher: The Big Apple threw me out! Now I'm in Tokyo with the little people. How are you doing?
Skarrphace: No shit? I'm doing great man...taking some time off....heading to Fiji for some much needed R&R in a week...what can I do for you man?
The Butcher: Just calling you to kill some time. You know, remember the past. So how's the family? Are they out killing each other like gangsters always do?
Skarrphace: *laughs a little* Oh, we've gotten away from the killing business...it's all on the up and up if you know what I mean...but Dad's doing well, although he's getting a bit old for this stuff. Hey, you know who I saw downtown last month? Mr. friggin' Perfect...can you believe that?
The Butcher: No way! I haven't seen that guy in ages. We've got some guy running around the gO sayin' he's Mr. Perfect...piece of crap thinks he can rip off a legend! Soon we're gonna have guys runnin' around saying that they are 'Phace. That's how bad things are going in gO.
Skarrphace: And here I thought Max knew what he was doing re-opening that place...I hope it doesn't fold...
The Butcher: I'm the Commish, man. The place will never fold while I'm around...I hope. Dangers doing a solid job. Things would be better if we weren't touring in Japan. The Japanese don't really care for our roster as of yet. Speaking of rosters, are you on any yet or still taking it easy in the wrestling game?
Skarrphace: I've got a few things in the works that I can't talk about right now...you know what I mean. But you can be on the lookout for the 'Phace to pop up where you least expect him to. That's always been my way. Touring Japan eh? Maybe you should put on a nice Deathmatch...you were always good at getting extreme...
The Butcher: We've been having Death Matches, some pretty good ones too. I'm not so sure I'll get back in the ring though. Max talked to me about it and said that I should go get my ass kicked for the expense of the company. What the hell do I look like, a punching bag or somethin'? I swear the guy isn't playing with a full deck of cards. *laughs*
Skarrphace: It was working with me all those years...*laughs*...well man, I was headed out the door, I've got to do some things today...but thanks for callin' and let me know how gO goes...
The Butcher: All right. Keep it real, bro. Later.
-|- He ends the conversation, puts his cell phone away and lays back down. -|-
Damn that didnt take long.
-|- The Butcher starts to doze off with one thought on his mindNikki. He breaths in deep, holds it, and then exhales loudly. He lays there peacefully when suddenly there is an abrupt knock at the door. Angered, The Butcher stands up and walks to the door to answer it. He reaches for the door knob but before he can turn it the door flies open like it was just kicked. The door slams The Butcher in the face and he falls over. The Butcher rises to find the two masked men that attacked him at the restaurant a few weeks ago. Bound for revenge, The Butcher lashes out with rage in his eyes and fury in his booming voice. He runs at the large man that comes in at around 7 foot 350 pounds and tackles him. The both fly into the wall and bounce off and onto the floor leaving a cracked body print in the wall. The Butcher quickly gets to his feet remembering that there is another assailant. He looks around but the smaller masked man is no where to be found. The Butcher feels a sharp pain in the top of his head and feels a small trickle of blood run down his forehead. -|-
I must of hit my head on the wall when I tackled that guy. Damnit hurts.
-|- The Butcher reaches for the large mans mask hoping to end the secrecy. Before he can fully pull the mask off he gets kicked in the gut by the small man. The Butcher doubles over and then gets laid out with a karate drop kick to the top of his head. The large goon quickly gets to his feet and lays a few good kicks to The Butchers ribs. He then picks the exhausted Commissioner up and allows the smaller man to get in some punches to the face, breaking The Butchers nose. Then a commanding voice is heard. -|-
Voice: Stop!
-|- Both the assailants hold the bloody and swollen Commissioner up so he can see out the door. The doorway is full of blinding light and The Butcher squints his swollen eyes to see who stands before him. A dark man is there in the light but his face cannot be seen. The Butcher knows that voice from somewhere but cant put a face to it. He wants to muster something out of his mouth but cannot. -|-
Man in light: How many people must die before you get it through your head? Your journey is pointless. Youre parents disappearance shall remain a mystery. Do you not see what it is doing to you and those you love most? Youve gone mad in the search, your brother has stopped talking to you, your foster father put in a coma, and now this
-|- A woman wearing an ancient Japanese mask walks into the room with Nikki tied up and with a handkerchief wrapped around her mouth. Nikki tries to scream for help but her cries are only muffled by the handkerchief. The Butcher notices that the woman is holding a knife by Nikkis throat, holding her at bay. -|-
The Butcher: No!
Man in light: People will die for truth wont they? Will you die for your truth or maybe someone will die for you!
-|- The man in the light snaps his fingers signaling for the woman to do something. The Butcher tries to fight off the large and small man but cannot. The woman brings the knife closer to Nikkis throat, and begins to slowly make a large incision in her throat, cutting her wide open. Blood begins to pour down Nikkis shirt. The Butcher yells out but gets hit in the back of his head with an elbow, falling to the floor once again. By the time he gets his face off the floor his assailants, the man, and the woman are all gone. Lying on the floor in a pool of blood lies Nikkilifeless. -|-
The Butcher: No!
-|- Battered and bruised The Butcher runs over to her body and covers her neck trying to stop the bleeding. He looks into her eyes which stare back with a cold look. The Butcher starts to sob knowing that he cant do anything to save her. He rises her blood stained body and hugs her letting out a cry. Her warm blood on his hands begins to drip to the floor slowly. His cries wake him from his sleep. With tear plastered eyes, The Butcher looks at the floor where Nikki lays, only she is not there. He lets out a sigh of relief but begins to shed some more tears. -|-
It was all a dream.
