-[ Today�s scene opens up outside of a Food Cupboard outside of Baltimore, Maryland. It�s a busy place this evening because many of the gfwa OMEGA superstars will be making an appearance to help out with the needy. Many tables are placed outside with food and clothing ready to be handed out to those that need them most. Ricky Hunter is behind a table arguing with an old-timer about a dirty t-shirt. Tyler Hendrix is found eating more food than giving it away. Payne is at another table playing with toys and keeping them away from little children. Even Remy Resnick is being passed off as a homeless man so Fox can get some of the good soup. All is unwell until a gfwa OMEGA van drives up and lets Cody and Tomorrow Man out. They slowly walk up to the front entrance with the GHC Tag Team gold hung over their shoulders. As they walk in they get greeted by Father Kaufman, who is running the show. ]-
Fr. Kaufman: You boys do not look like you need assistance in life. Please leave.
-[ Cody and Tomorrow Man look at each other, bewildered. Suddenly, over walks Commissioner Butcher from the kitchen. He�s wearing an apron and a chef hat and appears to be cooking today. ]-
The Butcher: Father, these men are from the gfwa OMEGA promotion. They�re supposed to help us today.
-[ Fr. Kaufman strokes his gray beard as he looks over Cody and Tomorrow Man with a keen eye. ]-
Fr. Kaufman: I see. Sorry about that, gentlemen. We have had many thefts these last few weeks and I thought you two looked like the surly type.
-[ The Butcher runs off behind the chefs counter and starts serving the large line that has built up since he left. He starts to pour some soup into a bowl and then hands it to a young man who smells like garbage. Father Kaufman signals for Cody and Tomorrow Man to follow him into the kitchen. On the way there, Cody notices that Nikki is here and is cleaning off empty tables with a wash cloth. She has a cute blue bandana wrapped around her head to match her tight blue jeans and t-shirt which she has tied up to show her belly button. Cody watches her as she stretches across the table to wash it. Father Kaufman catches Cody gazing at Nikki, so he clears his throat to catch Cody�s attention. Tomorrow Man just shakes his head with a slight grin as Cody catches up to them. Father Kaufman leads them out the back door towards a gated back lot. He points at a large garbage container and then throws the guys each a pair of gloves. ]-
Fr. Kaufman: We have tons of trash bags full of garbage inside the house. I need you boys to take the bags a put them in that large container. When you are done, come get me so I can call Waste Management to empty the container. I think you boys can manage that.
Tomorrow Man: I�m sure we can.
Fr. Kaufman: All right. Well, there�s lots of work to be done, so I am off.
-[ Father Kaufman goes back inside to do whatever while Cody opens up the dumpster. Tomorrow Man places both GHC Tag Team Titles near the doorway as he goes inside and grabs 4 bags of garbage. When he returns he find Cody almost losing his lunch over the smell of the dumpster. ]-
Cody: Damn it! It smells like they throw people away in this damn thing!
-[ Tomorrow Man throws the bags into the dumpster and tries not to breathe in the foul odor. ]-
Tomorrow Man: Well, lets get this job done as fast as we can.
Cody: Agreed.
-[ Cody and Tomorrow Man both go inside to pick up some more bags that have been stuffed away in a closet. Tomorrow Man grabs a few bags a hurries outside with them. Cody, on the other hand, loses complete concentration when he catches Nikki continuing to wash tables out of the corner of his eye. She catches him gazing too, and waves to him. He just waves back nervously but happy to see her. She then goes back to her work but Cody continues to stare for a brief moment until he gets smacked on the back by Tomorrow Man. ]-
Tomorrow Man: Wake up, dude. You�ve got better things to do than dream about a girl you can never have.
Cody: I know�
-[ Cody and Tomorrow Man grab a few more bags and notice that the pile is not as big as it seemed. As they exit to go to the dumpster, Cody still thinks about what can never be. As he throws his share of bags in the dumpster he just stares into space with Nikki still on his mind. Tomorrow Man hits him from behind again. ]-
Tomorrow Man: What are you thinking about? Nikki again? You�re pathetic.
Cody: I know, but I just can�t get her out of my head, bro. All of last week when we had the week off, we didn�t see her or Butch, but I always thought about her. I don�t know what to do. I can�t tell her how I feel now; she�s married to Butch!
Tomorrow Man: Why not? Do you fear The Butcher kicking your ass?
Cody: No�
Tomorrow Man: Well you shouldn�t because sooner or later I�m going to kick your ass. You�re driving me nuts with all this talk about her. I swear, man, if you don�t tell her, I will. You�re damn secrecy is getting your mind off of what we�ve got going for us. For Christ�s sake, we�re the GHC Tag Team Champions and you act like you could careless because you�re on some mission to win over a girl that�s already taken. This non-sense has to stop now! It isn�t helping what we are doing and it�s tearing you apart. We�ve got this match-up this week against Remy, Frostie and Angelica and you haven�t even given that a thought. You better tell her by the end of the day or like I said, I will.
-[ Cody thinks over his options and realizes that he doesn�t have any. ]-
Cody: I can�t tell her.
Tomorrow Man: Damn it! Why not?
Cody: I�ll be throwing away my friendship to her and Butch.
Tomorrow Man: No, you won�t.
Cody: Yes, I will! Things will get strange. We can�t have the same friendship if she knows I love her. Even Butch won�t trust me around her. He�d think I�d take advantage of her.
Tomorrow Man: Would you?
Cody: I can�t say that I won�t because temptation is such a bastard to deal with. Sooner or later I�ll give in.
Tomorrow Man: Look, you have one choice right now. It�s either you or me that�s going to tell her. You decide.
-[ Tomorrow Man opens the back door and plans to pick up the last bags but gets stopped by Cody�s question. ]-
Cody: Have you ever been in love before?
-[ Tomorrow Man shoots Cody a mean eye and slams the door before he even walks in. ]-
Tomorrow Man: Don�t go there!
Cody: I know you have. I saw it in your eyes when they shot Kate. I saw the pain in your face when she died in your arms�
-[ Tomorrow Man takes his gloves off and jacks Cody up against the wall. His rage is clearly visible in his face. Cody doesn�t fight back at all because he knew this would strike a nerve. A small tear builds up in Tomorrow Man�s eye as he recalls the night 5 years ago when the love of his life went down to a stray bullet in a botched bank robbery attempt. It is one of the many things in his life he does not like to talk about. He was only 19 years old at the time but he knew what love was. His heart belonged to 18 year old Katie Pearson but he could never tell her. The phrase �I love you� was a big thing to say but he didn�t want to say it because he wasn�t sure if she felt the same. So he took her out that night to the Sugar Cane Ice Cream Shop in San Francisco. He knew, as they walked back to the car, that this was his moment to tell her. Not even 10 yards from his car he stopped her to tell her the words of his heart. Before he could even begin, six police cars turned the corner and stopped right before the bank they were standing in front of. And that�s when four masked men exited the bank and began shooting their guns to escape the police. The couple ducked but it was too late. Kate was shot fatally in the back and fell to the concrete in a pool of her own blood. The young Tomorrow Man held her up in his arms, trying to revive her, but it was too late. She was gone. As he held her, the shoot out came to an end when 3 of the 4 bank robbers were shot to death and the other one escaped. Everyone in the bank ran out in fear and Cody was one of them. He was cashing his pay check when this all went down. Most of his life Cody believed he was immune from the world�s problems but that night he received a swift kick in the ass by it. He watched Tomorrow Man, who was a complete stranger at the time, cry as paramedics carried Kate�s lifeless body away. That was the first time Cody and Tomorrow Man met and they would move on a year later as complete strangers. Tomorrow Man to this very day feels her warm blood in his hands and that is why he doesn�t get close to women anymore. There is always something there to remind him of her death. Tomorrow Man lets Cody go and punches the brick wall in anger. He lets his cut knuckles drip with blood without a care for himself. ]-
Tomorrow Man: Don�t you see? I knew I loved Kate but I couldn�t muster the words. My time ran out and I never told her how I really felt. That is why I�m telling you that you have to tell Nikki now. If not now, then when? You only get so many chances in this life and then they�re all gone before you know it. All I needed was 1 more minute but it was robbed from me. I don�t blame the police or even the thieves for my last shot being taken away. I blame myself. I had numerous chances but I blew them all. I blame Kate�s death on the son of a bitch that got away though. The autopsy showed the fatal bullet was from the one gun that wasn�t recovered. People make mistakes in life and I can probably forgive the man that killed her in cold blood. But I can�t forgive myself for letting her slip away and not knowing how I truly felt. That�s the pain I have to deal with everyday for the rest of my life. The pain sickens me. I can�t even look at myself in the mirror let alone another woman. I�m trying to save you from this pain before it�s too late. You don�t know what�s going to happen tomorrow, next week or even next year. Before you know it, Nikki could be gone. I won�t allow you to throw it all away. It�s better that she knows how you truly feel and have to decide between you and Butch.
Cody: But she is Mrs. Jimmy Cortez. She would never leave him for me.
Tomorrow Man: Don�t assume. Give her the choice. She deserves at least that much.
-[ Tomorrow Man goes to put his gloves back on but decides not to since his one hand is still bleeding a little. Tomorrow Man throws the gloves in his pockets and moves towards the door. Cody thinks for a second and understands what he has to do. ]-
Cody: You�re right. Damn, I am so fucking blind! She has to know if she doesn�t all ready.
Tomorrow Man: Listen, I�ll finish up what we�re doing here while you go talk to her.
-[ Cody nods in agreement and follows Tomorrow Man in. Cody tries to collect his thoughts as Tomorrow Man picks up the last two bags of refuse. Father Kaufman comes out of a room with a satisfied look on his face and walks out the backdoor with Tomorrow Man. ]-
Cody: Ok, moment of truth here. Gotta do this. Lets go.
-[ Cody walks past The Butcher and give him an unenthusiastic grin. The Butcher just smiles back and hands a homeless woman a bowl of soup. Cody carefully walks up to Nikki, who is busy cleaning silverware at the sink. Cody uses his acute eye to notice that she has spilt some water on her white t-shirt and now her bra and nipples are showing a little bit. He quickly becomes enslaved with her slight accident but over powers his desire to stare and remembers that he can have it all in just a few moments. So, he interrupts her. She turns her head to him, still cleaning the silverware, and stares into his eyes. Yeah, you guys know the one. Cody�s confidence is quickly squashed with her beautiful auburn eyes staring into his. He then begins to doubt his motivation for this whole mess but he�s past the point of no return. ]-
Cody: Do you have a moment?
Nikki: Sure. What�s up?
-[ Nikki turns off the water and reaches for something that�s sitting on the edge of the sink. It�s her wedding ring. She places it on her finger ever so gently, making Cody remember that he can�t do this. Damn The Butcher and his unbeatable charm. What chance does Cody ever have of beating him and winning over his wife? No chance at all! ]-
Cody: I�um�need to ttttalk to you about something very important�
-[ Nikki moves close to his ear and whispers in that engaging voice of hers. ]-
Nikki: I know what you�re going to say and I�m completely with you on it.
-[ Cody does back flips in his mind. She knew all along! And she�s okay with it! What a gal. She moves away from his ear and gives him a wink, which totally solidifies his belief that they�ll be together. Right now, all the nervousness has left him and he�s completely comfortable with his feelings towards her. At this moment Tomorrow Man re-enters the kitchen and notices that the two are talking, so he walks over to The Butcher to help out. ]-
Cody: So when do we tell Butch?
-[ Nikki gives him a small punch to the right arm. ]-
Nikki: On his birthday of course!
-[ On his birthday?! Holy shit she�s a bad ass! Just the way he likes them too. ]-
Cody: Why then?
Nikki: Um, that�s what people usually do when they have a surprise birthday party.
-[ What?! Cody�s heart just completely sinks. He can�t believe how stupid he is. ]-
Cody: Oh, of course. Yeah, what was I thinking?
-[ Cody laughs nervously and then Father Kaufman staggers inside. His clothes and hair are all messed up and his lip is bleeding. He falls to the floor in exhaustion as everyone goes to see what happened to him. The scene fades to black. ]-
