The last time we met The Butcher he was well on his way to Japan after the successful gfwa OMEGA Preview Show. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame and said that he would remain the Commissioner of the aging federation. All was well aboard the ship except for him. He was facing the painful remembrance of his past which he neglected to tell his girlfriend, Nikki. A week has past and The Butcher has yet to receive the promised message about his parents.

-|- Today's scene opens up at a popular restaurant in the Tokyo business district. The Butcher has been enjoying his stay in Japan with Nikki. He is dressed khaki cargo pants and a New York Yankees t-shirt; she is dressed in a rather fine red Japanese dress and high heels. They have yet to encounter any language barrier until tonight. On their way to the restaurant, The Butcher had some trouble communicating with the taxi driver on their destination. But after a twenty minute argument with the driver, they decided to walk. The restaurant is a busy place full of many Japanese artifacts and art. The couple was placed at a table in the center of Hu Restaurant with their menus. Surrounded by many Japanese, The Butcher recalls his time wrestling in Japan many years ago. -|-

The Butcher: You know, when I first arrived in Japan I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know the Japanese language or anything about Japan. My first couple months was quite educational and I learned the language quickly.

Nikki: Do you still know any Japanese?

The Butcher: I really can't remember any of it because I haven't used it in so long! Oh, here comes the waiter.

-|- The Japanese waiter walks up with a grin on his face. He's dressed in black pants and his white shirt is tucked in. He stands up straight with his hands behind his back. Not knowing that the American couple doesn't know any Japanese he starts to speak his native language. The couple sits there with puzzled looks on their faces. Once the waiter stops telling what appears to be the specials of the night he looks ready to take their order. -|-

Nikki: Do you know what he just said?

The Butcher: Um....no clue. Do you know any English, Mr. Waiter?

-|- The waiter stands there not understanding. Nikki looks at the other tables around them and notices that everyone is eating some sort of fish dish. -|-

Nikki: How come everyone has fish?

The Butcher: I don't know. Hey do you have any hamburgers?

Waiter: Hem.....burgers?

The Butcher: No, haaaambuuurrrgers.

Waiter: Hamburgers? Hamburgers!

-|- The Butcher smiles and nods. The waiter runs off happy that he learned some English. -|-

Nikki: Where is he going?

The Butcher: I don't know. Maybe to get us some hamburgers. Well, the first show went off without a hitch.

Nikki: Yeah, it was very different from the other GFWA shows that I've watched. I also noticed that there weren't that many people at the shows. I could have sworn I saw a lot of empty seats.

The Butcher: Yeah, well I guess we'll have to give it some time. The matches were solid and it appeared that everyone had a good time. Max is taking a big gamble by going to small venues and leaving North America which seemed to be where our greatest amount of fans came from. Plus, you have to remember that the shows will be shown two weeks later in America, so, I'm sure ratings will definitely go up.

Nikki: What if things don't get better?

The Butcher: Well, then I guess the gfwa OMEGA will be a bust.

You know, I'm the Commissioner of the gfwa OMEGA but wrestling is the last thing on my mind. I don't care about the ratings or how many tickets we sell. I want to know who called me last week telling me that I might not ever see my parents again. If this was a joke I'm going to find that person and kill them. No one and I mean no one screws with me like that. I was supposed to receive a message from this person after I arrived in Japan, and here I am a week later still in the dark with no call from this stranger.

-|- A seductive Japanese waitress walks up to the couple and hands them both a wrapped fortune cookie. -|-

Waitress:: Please eat before your meal. Cookies bring good luck.

-|- She smiles and leaves. Nikki opens hers and reads her fortune. -|-

The Butcher: What does it say?

Nikki: "Friendship always appears to be wholesome, but do not trust a double dragon."

The Butcher: That's strange.

Nikki: Yeah and the cookie doesn't taste that good either. They must have special ones for Americans. * laughs * Read yours.

-|- The Butcher opens his and pulls out the small fortune. He reads it to himself and his happy face turns to anger. -|-

Nikki: Come on, it can't be that bad! Read it to me.

-|- The Butcher doesn't say a word. He hands her the fortune and looks for the waitress. Nikki reads the cookie to herself and gets a worried look on her face. She drops it on the table and looks at The Butcher who is focused on his search for the waitress. -|-

-|- The Butcher finds the waitress walking through the swinging doors which leads to the kitchen. The Butcher gets up from his seat with his hands in fists. Nikki stands up and grabs his right arm. He gently pushes her to the side and begins to walk towards the kitchen. Their waiter walks out from the doors with two dishes. He pushes the food into The Butcher's face. -|-

Waiter: Eat...eat.

-|- The Butcher looks at the food and sees that it's just cooked fish placed between a roll. He knocks the waiter down which sends the food flying in the air and the plates crashing to the floor. The whole restaurant starts to become loud and a woman screams as the plates crash. Nikki grabs her purse and runs over to the fallen waiter to see if he's all right. He tries to kiss her and she punches him in the face, knocking him out cold. The Butcher doesn't take notice of the unconscious waiter and walks into the kitchen. He sees the chefs all running around trying to make food over the flames. The kitchen is steamy and he can't really find the waitress through it. A chef sees The Butcher and yells at him Japanese. He pays no attention and starts to walk down the aisle of ovens looking for the waitress. Finally, he sees her running around a corner in the kitchen. -|-

The Butcher: Hey! Stop!

-|- He starts to run after her but gets tackled by three chefs. He uses his wrestling skills and easily dispossess of the three smaller chefs. He runs through the thick steam in search of the woman who may know where his parents may be. As he turns the corner he finds a door with a Japanese sign which translates to "Exit". The Butcher opens the heavy metal door and looks out. The door leads to five short steps down into a dark ally. He cautiously walks out the door and lets it close behind him. He looks around and jumps at the loud noise of two fighting cats over in the corner. -|-

The Butcher: Where the hell did she go?

-|- The Butcher reaches for the door handle to go back inside when suddenly the door comes flying open. He gets tackled by a large man and they both fly over the railing of the steps. The Butcher loses his breath as he hits the ground hard. The unknown man gets up off of him and shakes the cobwebs out. You see that the man is wearing a black ski mask over his face so he will never be known. Before The Butcher can catch his breath he is thrown into side of the hard metal stairs. He gets punched in the stomach a few times and then gets thrown into a pile of trash cans. The Butcher, angered, yells and tackles the unknown man. He sits on the big man's chest and punches him three times in the face, stunning him momentarily. -|-

The Butcher: Who are you?!

-|- The Butcher reaches for the man's mask but suddenly feels a sharp pain on the back of his head. He falls over and sees that there is an average sized man standing over him with a pipe in his hand. The Butcher, paralyzed with pain, moans a bit. The smaller man, also wearing a ski mask, helps the large man to him feet. The whole ally is quickly illuminated by bright car lights. The Butcher, slightly blinded, sees the smaller man help his attacker into the backseat of a gray car. The Japanese waitress comes out from under the metal stairs and sees The Butcher, who is still in obvious pain. She unwraps her shiny black hair from the bun it is in and lets it fall down her back. The Butcher listens to her high heels click on the ground, getting closer. She bends over to him, kisses him on the lips, and abruptly plants a kick to his bruised stomach. The Butcher winces in pain as the waitress gets into the front passenger seat of the car. Nikki opens the exit door and finds The Butcher lying on the ground moaning. -|-

Nikki: Jimmy!

-|- She runs down the stairs to her boyfriend as the car backs up down the ally squealing its tires. The Butcher sits up and holds his ribs while Nikki embraces him. -|-
