Global TV turned out to be a sub-par show with Cody and Tomorrow Man getting the win over Tyler Hendrix and Ricky Green. It was an all right return match but Cody and Tomorrow Man seemed to be more focused on the GHC Tag Team Titles shot at 2 Days of Hell. At the end of the event quite a weird thing occurred. The Japanese Jalopies showed up to beat up Brooklyn! Aren�t the Japanese Jalopies Cody and Tomorrow Man? So wouldn�t that break the contract? Maybe they aren't and never were the Japanese Jalopies! Maybe Cody and Tomorrow Man tricked us and are still tricking us! Hmm...quite a predicament we�ve got ourselves here.
-|- We find ourselves at the Cartwright Inn, just a few blocks away from tonight�s showing of global TV. It is a fancy dinning establishment where a suit and tie are needed to get in. Cody is sitting at a table listening to the piano man and singer sing some boring tune as he waits for his date to arrive. Then suddenly Denise Lopez arrives in a gorgeous sparkling blue dress. She catches Cody off guard because the dress is very modest and shows very little cleavage. He gets up and pulls out a seat for her like a gentlemen. -|-
Denise: Why thank you, Cody.
-|- She takes a seat and he pushes her closer to the table. He walks around the other side with a little sweat beginning to appear on his forehead. Cody wanted to play cool tonight and get right to the point but appears Denise has other plans. -|-
Cody: Wow, Denise, you looks stunning!
Denise: Thank you, Cody. It was kind of hard to find the dress on such short notice.
-|- Cody notices a few other guys surrounding them are staring at Denise Lopez because she�s a total bombshell. Some receive a slap or a kick from their wives or girlfriends because they are too busy paying attention to Denise than what the women are saying. Over walks the waiter in his typical garb with some menus in hand. He hands them the menus and says something in his casual voice. -|-
Waiter: My name is Philip and I will be serving you tonight. Can I get you anything to drink?
Cody: We�ll take some a�champagne! Um�yeah.
-|- The waiter walks away, happy that he�s serving Denise Lopez. As the two look through the menus, Cody begins to feel something rubbing up and down against is leg. He looks under the table and finds Denise rubbing her right leg in his. He looks up at Denise and finds her smiling at him. Philip then returns with a bottle of champagne. He uncorks it and begins to pour some into the large glasses on the table. -|-
Philip: What will you have for dinner, Miss?
Denise: I will have the veal parmesan with the spaghetti and a small salad.
-|- As the waiter takes down the order Cody says �crap!� to himself because he�s going to have the same thing. -|-
Philip: And how about you, Sir?
Cody: I�ll have the same.
Philip: Very good.
-|- The waiter walks away with the order and Cody looks at Denise, who is smiling. -|-
Denise: We must be made for each other. So how long have you been in the wrestling business?
Cody: 5 years. How about you?
Denise: I�ve covered wrestling for 4 years and I did some other news reporter work down in South America. Have you ever been there?
Cody: Um�once.
-|- Cody remembers his recent trip to South America. He kind of forgot it purposely because he shot himself in the testicles with his gun. He obviously did not enjoy his time which is why he forgot about the whole incident. Denise takes a sip from her wine glass and winks at Cody. -|-
Cody: Say, Denise, would you like to just get to the end of this date and get to what we really want to do?
Denise: No! I want to learn more about you. I really want a serious relationship so I can settle down and start a family.
-|- Cody swallows a huge gulp of saliva as he�s just hit with the realization of what he�s gotten himself into. He didn�t know Denise wanted a steady boyfriend. He thought she was after the same thing as him and that was sex. He wanted to de-virginize her tonight but his thoughts and dreams are now gone because she wants a �serious relationship.� He prepares to just get up and leave because there won�t be any cherry popping for quite some time and he doesn�t want to wait around for it. Just as he catches the nerve to leave, his plan is shot down by a familiar voice. -|-
The Butcher: Well what do you know? Look who it is!
-|- Cody stands up but notices The Butcher, Nikki, and Tomorrow Man all standing there dressed to perfection and ready to have a nice night out. Cody give Tomorrow Man an anger driven look in his eyes because he knew that his partner had something to do with this; which is totally true. When Tomorrow Man learned of Nikki returning, he insisted that they all go out to eat somewhere nice. He knew where Cody and Denise were having dinner, so he decided to give the idea of going to the Cartwright Inn. The Butcher quickly agreed but was unaware that Cody had a date with Denise in the same place. The host shows the trio their table which is strangely next to Cody and Denise. As they all take their seats, Cody sits down because he knows he�s going to have to wait this one out. -|-
Nikki: How long have you two been going out?
The Butcher: Yeah, I never knew you two were a couple.
Cody: We aren�t.
Denise: This is our first night out.
Nikki: First night out is always the fun one.
-|- Nikki winks at Cody as a waiter comes to the trio�s table, hands them menus and walks away. Cody can�t believe the mess he�s in and it�s all thanks to Tomorrow Man, who we catch trying to hold back a smile. Cody shakes his head in anger as Denise starts to rub her leg up against his once again. -|-
Denise: Have you ever thought about having a family, Cody?
Cody: No. I don�t really think too far ahead in my life. I just go with the flow.
Denise: I like that.
Cody: What?
Denise: How you think. You don�t seem to worry a lot.
-|- Not entirely true because Cody is worrying now and hopes that Denise doesn�t get too attached to him. The waiter comes back and brings a bottle of champagne for the other table. He then takes their orders and leaves. -|-
Nikki: That was a nice return match, T-Man.
Tomorrow Man: Yeah, I think we did all right. Now we have to focus on Robinson and Showtime. I have a lot of respect for those two because they�re fighting for the sake of Max Danger. Time is running out for Bronx and Brooklyn and soon we will take their titles and leave what�s left of them for Robinson and Showtime.
The Butcher: Nikki, do you want to get married?
-|- Cody spits out the champagne he was drinking and it all lands on Denise Lopez. Tomorrow Man is in shock just like Cody. -|-
Cody: I�m so sorry, Denise!
Denise: Grrr! I�ll be right back.
-|- Denise Lopez quickly leaves for the ladies� room so she can wash-up. Cody looks over at Tomorrow Man but he doesn�t know what�s going on either. Nikki just looks at The Butcher in complete shock because the proposal just came out of no where. -|-
Nikki: What did you say?
-|- The Butcher gets down on his left knee and pulls out a small black box. He opens the box to reveal a ring with a medium size diamond on it. The Butcher notices a few strangers looking around and watching, which makes him more nervous. -|-
The Butcher: I said, let�s get married. What do ya say? Pleeeease.
-|- The Butcher begs like a little kid who wants an X-Box for Christmas but mommy and daddy keep saying �no�. He smiles at her as he does it. -|-
Nikki: Sure, why the hell not?
The Butcher: Cool.
-|- He places the ring on her and they kiss. Tomorrow Man claps and shakes The Butcher�s hand while Cody can only stand there with a broken heart. Denise Lopez returns without a clue of what�s going on. She taps Cody on the shoulder to ask what�s going on but he�s lost in a whirl of jealousy and anger. She then asks Tomorrow Man and he finally tells her. -|-
Tomorrow Man: Nikki and Butch here are going to get married!
Denise: No way! I missed it. Damn it! Congrats, guys. Now let me see the ring!
-|- She grabs Nikki�s hand and looks at it quickly. -|-
Denise: Nice rock.
Nikki: It�s really nice.
Tomorrow Man: It�s toast time!
-|- Tomorrow Man hits his glass with a spoon to get everyone�s attention. They then all rise their glasses in the air, even Cody does to hide his frustration. -|-
Tomorrow Man: A toast to the soon-to-be married couple. May you be happy forever and ever and all that good stuff! Wow, I really suck at this.
-|- The five laugh, bring their glasses together and then take a sip. As The Butcher goes for his sip someone bumps into him from behind. He spills his champagne on himself and stands up irritated. He notices that Cody, Tomorrow Man, and Nikki have stopped their commotion and stare blankly at the person behind him. The Butcher turns to see who the clumsy person was and gets hit by shock as well. Behind him stands�The GrimReaper! -|-
