A week has passed after The Butcher and his friends succeeded in their rescue mission and nothing has gone back to normal. As the gfwa OMEGA Commissioner counts down his final days in England, thoughts of going back home to the United States come into his mind. He relishes the idea of returning where the old GFWA was created and seeing the many fans who have missed their beloved wrestling federation. Hes sure that many will be happy to see Live~Wire Sean Casey back for the last dance and attendance will soar because people want to see the legend one last time. Of course, the thought that the Manhattan Project is stilling running around acting like hot shots angers the Commissioner for they are beginning to destroy what he, along with many other Hall of Famers, created. As he sits at his freshly painted desk in a rented office on Londons north side, he looks over the current roster and who might be able to defeat the unbeatable Manhattan Project. He knows that Sean Casey will step up and knock the taste out of Bronxs mouth but will he be watching for Brooklyn who will be standing right behind him? The odds are against Casey obviously. What about Non-Verbal Communication? Well, Bronx is hell bent on taking Danger out of the picture for good and he may very well do that one of these days. The rest of the tag team division doesnt look too promising with Devilz Darkside still not intact and it appears the no one will be able to defeat the Manhattan Project. Then he thinks, What if I come back?. The thought quickly exits his mind for he knows that he can put the Manhattan Project away but that would involve time. Hes done it before in his career. Bringing the promised unbeatable faction featuring Faze, Phobia and Devilz Darkside to their knees by himself. Then he drove Phobia into retirement. Also add the whole Chaos incident where he screwed him out of his World Championship defense, which made him flee too. The Butcher is notorious for never giving up on his cause. So why even bother coming back? Everyone knows that for the past two years hes retired and came out of it when the leaves changed color. Its his time of the year. Everything seems to come together for him at this time. But coming out of retirement once again would be pointless because he has no drive to come out. He wanted the GFWA World Championship the last two times and he won it once a few months down the road; but this time there is nothing. He places the roster paper down on the desk and begins to think more deeply, wondering what he can do to end this on going problem. Nikki walks by the doorway quietly with a depressed look on her face. She doesnt say a word to The Butcher and continues to make her way to the bedroom to sleep. Shes been depressed since the day she was saved and hasnt said much. Every time The Butcher attempts to talk to her about what happened in Brazil she avoids any questions and exits the room unhappy. He knows shes still in shock because of what happened and hopes that it will pass with time. He hopes that she gets better soon, though, and goes back to her fun loving self. If she doesnt, The Butcher may contemplate resigning as Commissioner and spend time with her in counseling. It only makes sense to him because she is the love of his life and he wouldnt know what to do without her. Wrestling means next to nothing when she comes to mind. She was his inspiration to win the GFWA World Championship and to never give up on the dream. Without her he might be still an active wrestler always losing the big match. Hes glad hes out of the ring as an active wrestler now, even though meetings drive him nuts, he always looks forward to seeing her face at the end of the day. Now they barely speak and look at each other and it is driving the Commissioner nuts because there is only so much he can do. The Butcher turns his rotating chair and looks out the large glass window at the beautiful day outside. Down below in the courtyard The Butcher notices his friends Cody and Tomorrow Man are learning to play cricket with some young English boys. The Butcher laughs as Cody keeps swinging and missing the ball. Codys gunshot wound, if youll call it that, has not even slowed him down a bit. He was lucky the bullet only grazed his scrotum and has almost fully healed. Cody thinks that it was awesome what happened back in Brazil except for the part where he shot himself. He talks about it constantly but is usually quieted when Tomorrow Man recalls him shooting himself. Tomorrow Man is less enthusiastic about what occurred in Brazil because he went against one of his principles when he killed the GrimReaper. He is ashamed of himself even though he saved The Butchers life. Suddenly, a thought crosses The Butchers mind. Mr. Warlock and the GrimReaper are now dead and everyone can live their lives the way they want without their interruption. Cody and Tomorrow Man seem to be the perfect weapons to defeat the Manhattan Project seeing as they are the legends of the GFWA Tag Team Division. He knows better though. They just wont come back because the gfwa OMEGA needs them. Theyve had their fun in the GFWA and were quite pissed when they found out the front office was using them. Thats why they wont come back; they fear being used again. But with The Butcher as Commissioner he will make sure that this wont happen again. He has to convince them though. But how?
