-|- The scene opens up infront of The Butcher's old run down home in wonderful Harlem, New York. From inside you can hear a man and a woman talking. What they are talking about is unclear. The front yard is neat, the broken fence has been fixed and the once cracked sidewalk has apparently been paved over to perfection. The exterior of the home looks clean and just recently painted. Very strange considering that The Butcher's home is a dump. -|-
You may remember me from days past. I am the GFWA's Extreme Legend. I am the future GFWA Hall of Famer. I am the one time GFWA World Champion. I am known as The Butcher. You GFWA fanatics probably most definitely remember me seeing as many believe I'm the one that kept the federation among the elite, the top echelon of this industry. I was the last GFWA Commissioner and acting President while Max Danger had to deal with his personal problems. You may also remember me being the one who shut down the GFWA and sent the talent packing in different directions. I still believe that decision was correct and will stand by it 'til the day I die.
-|- You start to make your move into the home through the front door. To your surprise the once trashed home has been cleaned to the point where a germ would feel unwelcome. This is truly amazing because at one time the floors were full of trash. Now the floor is clearly visible. The greasy walls have been painted over. The dilapidated stairs have been repaired. And, from where you stand, the rest of the house looks like this. -|-
I notice that you feel strange in my familiar home. Please feel welcome. Let's see where was I? Ah, yes, my decision to shut down the fed. Like I said, it was a good call. The fed was falling apart and there really wasn't anything I could do. So, yes, I closed down my home knowing that when it returns it will be better than it was before. I looked like the fool back then but now look at me. Do I look like the fool now? The gfwa OMEGA has been born. North American tours are a thing of the past. Now we shall reach those fans which have been out of reach for so many years.
-|- Finally, The Butcher comes down the stairs with a full luggage in hand. He is being followed by his girl friend, Nikki, to the living room. He sets the luggage down on the table. They seem to be arguing about something but you can't hear them because they have been muted while The Butcher continues to narrate. -|-
Isn't she beautiful? Why of course I'm talking about my Nikki. Her short black hair. He brown eyes. Her attractive smile. And that ass...oh my. How I wish I was the tight pair of jeans that she always wears. Do you think I care that I have 13 years on her? Of course not! Me being 37 and she being 24 doesn't in any shape or form change my love for her. We've been going out for a few months and she is the one that I want to spend the rest of my days with. My heart was locked away with one key and she has it. Do you have a love of your life? Wrestling was my life. Chasing the dream of becoming a World Champion and finally achieving it was the death of my career. I find it amazing how my wrestling skills improved as I fought for the Championship and once I won it my skills were gone. I couldn't do anything to beat Chaos. True, he was a very talented individual but he wasn't worthy of defeating me. I lost that match and walked away from the ring for the last time as a wrestler. Many thought Nikki was just hanging around because I was going to become the World Champion. Well, she hung around after I lost it. She is my life now. She fills that gap wrestling left in my existence. But you don't want to hear about my love of her. To most, me being in love is quite disgusting. So, I'll shut my mouth and allow myself to speak...as weird as that sounds.
-|- The Butcher's narration ends as you hear the slight argument between him and Nikki. They are arguing about The Butcher leaving for San Francisco to go to the gfwa OMEGA show where he will be honored by joining the Hall of Fame. The Butcher opens his luggage and searches through it to make sure he has everything he needs. -|-
Nikki: I can't believe you are leaving now! You should have told me that you were leaving for the West Coast today! I would have packed to go with you. The Butcher: Nikki, you have plenty of time to get to San Fran. The show isn't until next week and then we're all off to Japan to kick off the first event. Nikki: Still, you should have told me that you were leaving today. Wait...way did you say 'we're all off to Japan'? You aren't going back are you? You seriously can't be thinking of going back.
-|- The Butcher looks at her and then grabs both of her shoulders and sits her down on the new sofa. He sits to the left of her with her left hand in his right. He looks deeply into her eyes thinking of what he's going to say. -|-
Nikki: You aren't going back, are you? The Butcher: See, the thing is I can't walk away.... Nikki: I knew it! The Butcher: I'm addicted to the sport. I need to be around it. Nikki: Tell me, are you going back as an active wrestler? The Butcher: No. Nikki: So, your just going to hang out backstage for the rest of your life. That's just great! Great for you. What about me? I thought you loved me. I thought you were turning your life around for the better. I thought we were going to get married and live happily ever after, Jimmy. How could you do this to me?
Excuse me while I butt in but I just have to say something. 'The Butcher' alias has been my stage name forever and not many people know what my real name is. I tried to keep my real name out of my career but I guess Nikki just ended the 20 year mystery. Believe me, all you'll get is the first name this time and I'm sure my last name will come up somewhere along the lines. Back to this depressing moment of my life.
The Butcher: I didn't do anything yet. I'm leaving for San Francisco today and then I might leave for Japan next week. Keyword being: might. You can come to Japan with me if you want. For now my plans are to go to San Fran and spend a few days with my friends there then I'll make my decision about Japan. Really, honey, I'm going to be late for my flight. Nikki: I still can't believe you! (sighs) I'll meet you in San Francisco on Tuesday I guess. After your Hall of Fame ceremony I'm coming back to New York...with or without you. The Butcher: We'll talk more later. Lock up for me, ok. Bye!
-|- The Butcher picks up his luggage and walks out the door with a large grin on his face. Nikki is left behind still angry that The Butcher would rather go watch wrestling shows than be with her. -|-
