Alfred Tang during his days as a Theological Student

I was a student in Talbot School of Theology from 1988 to 1997 where I earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology. My majors were theology and philosophy. I studied with two of the best evangelical thinkers in America, theologian Dr. Robert Saucy (right) and philosopher Dr. J. P. Moreland (middle). I have written two theses, one on a scientific interpretation of creationism called the Multiple Gaps Theory, and another on the Trinity and Science. Both theses propose original theories which aim to solve many so-called "incomprehensible problems" in theology.

My experience in Talbot was more than mere pedantry. The M. Div. degree required me to gain practical ministry experience. During my seminary years, I served as a minister of youths and college students in various churches. I believe that science and theology are not necessarily demarcated but complement each other. As a theoretical physicist and a theologian-philosopher, I hope to answer questions about the apparent conflicts between science and theology.
