| 'I don't know, but don't hit him yet.' Jay replied as he whispered even softer than before. 'I can hear you. Don't bother trying to hurt me because you won't suceed.' Amir said as he turned around and stared at Jay and I. I tried to attack the stranger with the guitar and like he said, I didn't suceed. He pushed me into the wall and I feel unable to get back up. I went into a unconcious state. I woke up in my bed feeling a little dizzy and I thought the night before had been a alcohol induced dream. I drearly walked into the kitchen to get myself some water. I saw a note on the table. 'Didn't wan't to wake you, I'll be home tonight. Jay.' I woke up from reliving what I had suddenly remembered, what I suspected of being Jay's transformation." Paige said as he looked at me. " How long was it between the night in the studio and the night of your dream?" The reporter asked Paige. "It was exactly one year." Paige said as he paced back and forth behind her. "it was early morning, the dream." He said vaguely as he sat back down. "It wasn't a dream. That was exactly how it happened." I said truthfully. "Could I possibly finish what happened that day?" Paige asked as he looked at me, then the reporter. "Oh, I, Sorry. Please continue." The reporter said as she looked intriqued with Paige's features. He started to finish his story. "Somebody was impatiently pressing the doorbell button, until I opened the door. 'Yes.' I said to the unfamiliar woman standing infront of me. She looked around as if looking for people who may have been watching her. She stepped forward into the door frame. 'I'm Kristynn. Pronounced with the y.' She said smiling. I smiled back pretending to care and trying not to laugh. 'I've got a secret package for a Jay.' She said as she fumbled through a bag. She passed me a small palm sized brown package. 'Jay does live here?' She asked even though I had already had the package. 'Yes, he does.' I replied biting my tongue. 'Oh, good!' She exclaimed, delighted with my response. She turned around and walked towards the mid afternoon sun. "Fucking hell!' I exclaimed laughing in wonder as I closed the door. I put the package on the kitchen table. I looked down at my hand, expecting to see my skin melt away. I looked back at the package, staring at what I thought was a simple brown paper covered box. The phone started to ring. I almost had a heart attack, I jumped up and almost fell over. I calmed down and answered the phone. 'Hello.' I said trying to hide my shock. 'I must join Jay in his plight.' A mysterious voice said to me. 'What plight? Are you a vampire?' I asked stupidly. 'Vampires don't exist.' The mystery caller replied before the connection cut out. I replaced the phone back on the table. I looked towards Jay's room. 'Jay.' I whispered, as I slowly walked to his door. The sun was setting, so I found a candle, lit it and I hoped that nothing would happen to Jay as I opened his door. I walked in carefully, closing the door behind me. The room was as black as night with thick black velvet curtains surrounding the middle of the room. I found a opening and walked through. Then there was black lace, like the velvet hanging from the ceiling. Behind the black lace, layed a black polished coffin with silver trimming. I thick purple candle was lit next to the coffin. The flame was only small and it produced a small amount of light. I placed my candle next to it. 'Jay.' I whispered to the lid of the coffin. I turned around in shock when I realized what I was doing, talking to a coffin. I looked over my shoulder at the coffin. 'Argh!' I half screamed. 'Did I scare you?' Jay asked sympathetically as he sat on the coffin. 'Yes, well a little bit. I was startled.' I said smiling. Jay smiled back at me shaking his head. 'There's something for you. I'll just go and get it.' I said as I walked out from the lace enclosure. I saw Jay open the coffin, get in and put the live over himself. I left the room and then returned with the package. I passed it to Jay. He opened it and inside the box was a note. 'Jay, I've found someone for you.' Jay read from the note. I sat down on the coffin beside him. 'I must leave once night falls.' Jay said as he grabbed my arm. I thought he was going to bite me but instead looked at my watch. 'Thirty minutes.' Jay said letting go of me. ' Can you please leave my room and your blood is driving me wild. You can't become a vampire if I kill you first.' He said telling me slightly what I wanted to hear. So I went into my room and hid in the closet." Paige said as he stood up. "Why did you chose the closet?" The reporter asked as she slightly laughed. "It felt like the ideal place to hide, at the time." Paige responded sincerely. "It's not really something to laugh about. Where would you hide in that situation?" I asked sarcastically. "I'm not really sure." She replied looking angrily towards me. "I'll tell you what happened next." I said as I sat back in my chair. Paige looked at me and smiled. |
