ORGY- Candyass       Elementree thru Reprise

Jonathan Davis loves 'em and they sound like a pop/rock/industrial Marilyn Manson.
(I say otherwise)
You're in a small run-down hotel in the back streets of King's Cross.
(Sydney, Australia the bad part of the city, drugs and prositutes) You peer into the room next door through a small hole in the wall, and before you stands David Bowie in nothing but a leather cod-piece. Tied to the bed is the ever ready Trent Reznor (I think that's mean) as the Depeche Mode crew, dressed as maids, dance the fandango above him (I think that's mean too). Quite a brutal sight. But this is Orgy, and honestly it's one CD that you don't want to miss (wow, something I agree with), 'cause they are damn brutal! With their release Candyass, which evidently is the labels first release (owned by big, bad Jonathan Davis and the Korn crew), Orgy unleash a unbelievable blend of music fervour with riffs as thick as elephant crap and joyous pop as delicate as a cucumber sandwich (great images flowing through my head). This is simply brilliant: it's pop, it's rock and it's industrial, all vacuum-packed and blown over the bed sheets. Phew- that was damn good? They say everyone fantasises about having an Orgy (I don't)... Mmmm, well if your dreams never come true, try out this Orgy.

Vapor Transmission review from Double Day Music Club, April '02.

Orgy return after the sucess of Candyass, again blending melodic synthesised elements with powerful grooves and metal guitars to create a sound that is all their own.

ORGY - PUNK STATIK PARANOIA
A disappointing return from one-time Korn favourites.
The Lowdown: What happened to Orgy? Propelled to fame in 1998 by a nifty 80's cover (New Order's 'Blue Monday) and a patronage from Korn, as well as two fine albums of contemporary glam metal, they now find themselves adrift and releasing album three on their own label. Their persistence is appreciated but when the music is as lame, nondescript and lifeless as the sub-Manson-isms here, it's hard to get enthusiastic. The spark glitter and good songs are all gone. What a shame.

WHICH GODFORSAKEN retard wrote that review on Orgy's new album? Orgy kick serious backside and quote 'the spark, glitter and good songs are all gone' is a load of bullshit. Here's my review: Awesome. The end. This is one of their best albums yet and just cos you can't play a 5 string bass like Paige Haley or 7 string synth like Amir Derakh doesn't mean you have to stamp on their new album's heart. All hail Orgy and Julien-K.
