Boss Strategies
This section is self explanatory. Basically, these are just strategies to beat the bosses.
This page has strategies against just the stage bosses.
For strategies against the other bosses, go  here.

Cyber Peacock
Weapons obtained:
Aiming Laser
Raijingeki
Mega Man X:
Use Soul Body, which you get from Split Mushroom. It messes him up, and if
you get in the right pattern and hit him when he appears, he might not ever hit you.
Without Soul Body, shoot charged X-buster shots at him. Try to stay on the other
side of the room and don't stay on the walls. If you stand in one place for too long
or just hang out on the walls, he extends his feathers for an annoying, medium range
attack.
Zero:
Use the Ryuenjin attack that you get from Magma Dragoon. It has the same effect
on him as the Soul Body. Use it when he appears and you will take very little damage.
If you don't have Ryuenjin, duck in and out hitting him with your regular attack or with
the Kuuenbu somersault attack you obtain from Split Mushroom. Without Ryuenjin,
a full energy tank also helps a lot.
Frost Walrus
Weapons obtained:
Frost Tower
Hyouretsuzan
Mega Man X:
Hit him with Rising Fire, obtained by defeating Magma Dragoon, when he starts
walking. Then run to the other side of the room and get on the wall and jump over him
when he is about to slam into it. Repeat until dead. If you don't have Rising Fire,
just hit him with charged shots and avoid his icicles and him sliding at you.
Zero:
Zero has basically the same strategy as Mega Man X to defeat Frost Walrus.  Just use
Ryuenjin instead of Rising Fire. If you don't have Ryuenjin, basically just use the same
strategy as Mega Man X, except you have to be careful since you have to get in close.
Jet Stingray
Weapons obtained:
Ground Hunter
Hienyaku
Mega Man X:
Use Frost Tower, obtained by defeating Frost Walrus, to freeze him. You can freeze
him at almost any time, including when he is shooting the little stingrays. Just jump
under him while he is shooting them and use Frost Tower. Without Frost Tower,
just hit him with charged X-buster blasts instead. A prime time for this is when he is
shooting the little stingrays. The blast will rip right through those little guys then hit Jet Stingray.
Zero:
Use Hyouretsuzan, obtained by defeating Frost Walrus, to freeze Jet Stingray when he
is flying at you and when he is sucking you into him. Just jump above him and attack.
If you don't have Hyouretsuzan, hit him with your normal attacks and maybe even the
Kuuenbu somersault attack, obtained from Split Mushroom, to hit him repeatedly
until he dies. This guy isn't very hard once you learn his pattern.
Note: It is much easier to defeat Magma Dragoon when you still have the Ridden
Robot Ride Aromor from earlier in the level. It is immune to many fire attacks and
packs quite a punch. You may be able to get Magma Dragoon's health very low
before your Robot Ride armor explodes from his attacks. It helps a lot.
Magma Dragoon
Weapons obtained:
Rising Fire
Ryuenjin
Mega Man X:
If you have it, Double Cyclone, which you get by defeating Storm Owl, really helps.
When you hit him with it, he becomes stunned. If you keep hitting him with it when you
have the chance, he will give you very little damage. If you don't have Double Cyclone,
be thankful there are walls. Many of Magma Dragoon's attacks depend on you being on
the floor. If you stay on the wall and leap off to hit him when there is an opening, you'll be OK.
Zero:
So far, the best weapon I know of against him is Raijingeki, which you get after killing
Cyber Peacock. It takes off more damage than the other weapons. Unfortunately, that
only works when you are standing on the ground. The rest of the time just hit him with
sword attacks. Also, you may want to stay on the walls until there is an opening for
a hit, since most of Magma Dragoons attacks depend on you being on the floor.
Slash Beast
Weapons obtained:
Twin Slasher
Shipuuga
Mega Man X:
Slash Beast's weakness is the Ground Hunter, which you get from Jet Stingray.
When you hit him with it, he collapses then charges at you. If you can get in a good
pattern, you might not take any damage. If you don't yet have Ground Hunter, there
isn't much I can tell you. Just try to stay away from him and shoot charged X-buster
shots at him from a distance. Also, the walls are your friends.
Zero:
The Raijingeki, which you get from Cyber Peacock, gives more damage than other
attacks, but slows you down. I recommend to just get up close and personal and
just hit him with your sword.
Split Mushroom
Weapons obtained:
Soul Body
Kuuenbu
Mega Man X:
You can get him in a pattern by hitting him with Lightning Web, obtained
from Web Spider. He is easy to beat this way. Without Lightning Web, hit
him with charged shots.
Zero:
You can stun Split Mushroom with Raijingeki, but only on the ground. The rest
of the time, just slash him to death.
Storm Owl
Weapons obtained:
Double Cyclone
Tenkuuha
Mega Man X:
Use aiming laser, obtained from Cyber Peacock, to kill him. Without it,
this battle is much more painful. If you don't have it, just use charged shots
from your X-buster. Everything else seems to help him "charge up".
Zero:
The Rakuhouha, which is obtained from Cyber Peacock, stuns Storm Owl.
(Press R2 to fire Rakuhouha) After you drain that weapon, then just hack
at storm owl with your Z-saber. Rakuhouha charges up as you take damage,
so you'll get some more shots in.
Web Spider
Weapons obtained:
Lightning Web
Rakuhouha
Mega Man X:
What hurts this guy the most is the Twin Slasher, obtained by defeating
Slash Beast. Just shoot it when Web Spider is vulnerable. If you don't have
Twin Slasher, it doesn't really matter. Just shoot him with charged shots
when you can. This guy is probably who you want to go after first.
Zero:
Just slash at him with your Z-saber. That's it. This guy probably who you
should go after first. He's not very hard to beat when you don't have any
special weapons.
