Heart Tanks
Here is a description of where all of the heart tanks are. Hopefully
I'll
get my video capture hardware soon so I can give you pics,
too.
Web Spider Stage
Ok. This one is annoying to describe. Well, first of all it's in
area 2.
Now, you know the big, metal tree things just before you get to
Web
Spider? Well, there are various sections that can be burned away
with
either Rising Fire or Ryuenjin. The heart tank is in one of
those sections. You need to have beaten Magma Dragoon
before you can get this one.
Cyber Peacock
If playing as Mega Man X, you need a "Class S" rating for the first checkpoint
in Area 1. If playing as Zero, you need a "Class S" rating for the second
checkpoint. You just need to get there fast.
Storm Owl
This is in Area 1. The heart tank is on one of those platforms
that gets
blown away by a big ship's weapon. You need to get it before if
fires.
Magma Dragoon
Jump to the ledge to the left of the first armored enemy you see.
Jet Stingray
When you are racing through Area 1, you might will the heart tank
under
a ledge you instinctively jump on. Instead, just allow yourself
to fall.
Split Mushroom
This is in Area 2. You will be right by this when you go in the
teleporter at the
top of the Area 2 winding stairs. It's right above you. Then, make
the drills
start drilling by walking under them. You have to jump on the falling
platform
then on to the ledge with the tank. It's easy.
Slash Beast
You can't miss it. It's on the second car after you get the robot-ride
armor.
Frost Walrus
When you first start out the level, you have a choice of going
up or right. Go
right. There is a heart tank sitting on a block of ice in the area
where the snow
ledges form and disappear. It's above you. You need to melt it
with Rising Fire
or Ryuenjin, which means you must defeat Magma Dragoon first.
