I am a leaf today
Exhaustion lends itself to fragility
I feel fear boring into my bones
And a brave facade decaying
My skeleton is a wind-chime
Rattled. Rattling.
Winter winds stain my skin and bones - blue.
The sound is melancholic but sweet.
Minutes are easier to count
Than months
Winter threatens to put me to sleep
To woo my sad heart into hibernation.
I am a leaf today
A blue bone decaying
My sad heart is retreating into hibernation
The sound is melancholic -
But sweet. |
