What I Have Left

by Christopher Graham Colin Norris-December/2000

I kiss the photograph, the last thing that I can feel,
So out of touch with life and hope,
Dreams fall apart, and hopes disspear,
The emptiness consumes, but love still remains,
Many search for an eternity,
For what was found so soon,
Never to be let go, never to be let go of,
Days become numb fantasies, lasting perpetual eternities,
Momentary thoughts brushing against memories of the past,
Disintegrating, demoralizing, and yet still there is hope......
