Production Date Set as Utopia Planitia Named Primary Editors

August 26th, 2001

The production date for Plast TV has been set for November 1st. After the summer of wandering times and dates, the production date has finally been reached. Although that leaves only 2 months of time for pre-production work, the Sea Monkeys are sure that they will be able to start filming on November 1st.
"(The production is) good stuff"  Co-creator and co-producer Julian said at a recent interview.  "If it gets started, it will work well."
"Plast TV will allow people to become associated with videos and video production who don't normally get the chance." Andrew replied at the same interview. "As long as we get sufficient support, it will take off and it won't crash anytime soon." Andrew is also slated to be the director of the pilot episode.
"Plast TV should get some interested viewer, but we hope that with the right combination of elements, it will gain alot of viewers." Julian said.
Utopia Planitia, who was the primary editors for the film The Search for the Holy Coconut, has been named today the primary editors for Plast TV.  When asked about quality in comparision to The Search for the Holy Coconut, Julian replied, "Oh ya! It's going to be alot better."
"I feel that Utopia Planitia and Sea Monkey Video editing Studios have both learned alot from The Search for the Holy Coconut, and will allow for better work with Plast TV. I've seen some recent Utopia Planitia work, and it looks great. Plast TV should be very good, both in the content and in the audio/video." Andrew commented.
As of now, the cast was not chosen and the crew was not picked due to the cancellation of the sign-up meeting in early June. The meeting has been rescheduled for mid-October. Anyone interested should contact the Sea Monkies at [email protected].
