
Windows 95/98 Office 95/97 users -

Access your documents folder from the Start Menu with a cascading menu.  

Windows 95/98 defaults to use C:\MY DOCUMENTS as the default location of your personal files.  

This will change your registry configuration to point to C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\MY DOCUMENTS. 

After you have run the regedit file, copy the folder C:\MY DOCUMENTS to C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\and restart Windows.  

After you restart Windows, you should be able to delete the C:\MY DOCUMENTS completely.  

BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY FILES BEFORE EXECUTING THIS!  

To back up your registry go to Run and type Regedit.  Go to Registry>Export Registry.

Save it to your desktop as Backup.reg

To restore your registry simply double click on the backup file.
