| Tomeldan, Alli & Molina (TAM) Planners Company or TAMpc is a networked planning and development firm initially organized in 1993. It was officially registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1996 as a professional physical planning and architectural partnership. The three (3) TAMpc Partners are Michael V. Tomeldan, Armando N. Alli and Oscar F. Molina. All 3 are Registered and Licensed Environmental Planners (RLEnPs) and are all Registered and Licensed Architects (RLAs). All 3 are also products of the University of the Philippines System (UPS) Diliman campus from where they earned their BS Architecture and MA Urban and Regional Planning (URP) degrees. All 3 met in 1976 when they were still in their freshman year at the UPS Diliman campus. Over the past 8-10 years, TAMpc has been into institutional planning work which cover areas such as comprehensive land and water use planning (CLWUP) and zoning ordinance (ZO) formulation, tourism development master planning (TDMP), master development planning (MDP) and transportation planning (TRP). The partners were also into site master planning (SMP) and urban design (UDE) for different classes of clients in the private and public sectors. Among the TAMpc plans that have already been partly or substantially implemented are TDMPs for the Philippine Department of Tourism (DoT) and for the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Rodriguez, Rizal Province, Philippines (PH), CLUPs and ZOs for Pasay City and Taguig (both parts of the Metropolitan Manila Area) and MDPs for major private and public sector clientele such as the Manila Banking Corporation (MBC), AC, PEA, etc. Over the past 2 decades of individual professional practice, the 3 TAMpc Partners have become actively involved with bonafide international and Philippine government-accredited professional organizations such as the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) and the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), where they have occupied senior and very responsible positions, enjoying the full trust and confidence of their colleagues. Over the past several years, some TAMpc Partners have also been actively engaged in highly focused advocacy efforts to uplift the working standards/ conditions of the physical planning and architectural professions in the Philippines. Their work has resulted in the passage, approval and ongoing implementation of key professional, consulting service and development/construction-related laws including the Philippine Architecture Act of 2004 (Republic Act or RA No. 9266) and the 2004 Revised IRR of the Philippine National Building Code (NBC, otherwise known as PD No. 1096 of 1977). TAM Planners Co. actively seeks purely professional involvement in land and property development projects in the Philippines, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Asian Mainland and Oceania. |
