Planet X is a Traditional Hard Rock Band - with influences that range from the 60's and 70's, to the 90's, from classic rock artists such as Boston, UFO and Deep Purple - all the way to modern acts such as Pantera, Soundgarden and Creed. But don't be fooled, Planet X is far more than just the sum if it's influences, they harness the past and the present in order to chart a bold new future. Screw shallow trends - Pure Hard Rock will live on and Planet X is true to the core spirit of Hard Rock and Roll, which is - Hot Riffs, Hot Grooves, Hot LEADS and Hot *Vocals*.

If you want PURE UN-CUT HARD ROCK,

then Planet X is the place to find it.

How a Planet was formed:

Planets, like all living things evolve, grow and change - Planet X is no exception.

DZ, an expatriate New Yorker, grew up deep into the heart of California's Central Valley. DZ along with various other incarnations of the group gigged around the Sacramento area and performed at some of the city's most well-established rock clubs including The Boardwalk, Bojangles, Old Ironsides, Soundwave, the Shy Road Pub, Rooster's and the Clubhouse, as well as various Bay Area niteries such as Club Kaos, Lindee's and The Faultline among others. His soaring Schenker-like lead guitar became his hallmark.

After a grueling eleven-month period, F. Vyan Walton , a recently transplanted L.A. native (Personal Home Page | Bio) and former member of the L.A. band Soul Machine, answered the call. His soulful but gritty style clicked with the band's sound from the first song, and Planet X began to truly take shape.

And thus, the core of Planet X was formed.
