(Gig #2) Again, we
played The Boardwalk. - only this was the first
time using our new name - Planet X. The
show went well - except that we were the last
band and didn't hit the stage until 1 A.m. (Ouch)
The other bands on the bill we're C-Minus
and Oil Kan. It was also daylight savings
day - so we actually finished at 3 A.M.,
Technically. (URgle). We performed well, but
their were a few problems. Darryl broke a string
just before we began our first song, which
delayed things even more - and all during the set
their was the bass rumble all over the stage, so
we really couldn't hear all that well. Actually, I
could hear fine because I'm pretty used to
loud-noisy-rumbles having played so long with my
previous band (See The War Journal),
but the rest of the guys had a tough time.
Putting all of that those problems aside - we had
a really good crowd reponse and a nice show
overall. We performed a few of the songs that we
had to cut last time such as Don't Turn Back,
but we had to cut Feel the Pain this time.
We have an instrumental (currently called Instrumentality)
that we haven't been able to do live yet - oh
well, eventually. We finished the show with Run
