| Woodsey here. May I just point out that as I was typing up the 'FIVE STARS, EH?' page, I'd originally typed the word 'centring' in the first sentence. Looking in a dictionary, I found that the correct spelling of this is 'centering', which seems a little odd, given that the English spelling of the word is 'centre' and the American spelling is 'center', meaning you have to swop the 'e' and the 'r' around when you want to make it a verb. This may even mean that it was America who first changed the word 'centre' into a verb. You learn something every day, don't you? |
