He is also god of war. He was born mortal, son to the great dragon god Crey. Factar was able to use the full power of the the dragon fire. Crey did not tell Factar his blood line. Crey trained Factar to control the unruly power he had. Factar battled with Crey, to try and obtain the power of black chaos fire. Factar was able to release the fire, but Crey wounded his chest. His atempt to master the fire cost him the loss of his right eye. The black fire claims life and has killed most who tried to control it. After obtaining the chaos fire, Factar challenged the then king of Katazian gods. The chaos fire made him more powerful then any of the other gods. His leadership is accepted and well respected. Factar was god of war during the Katazian clan wars, after the obtained victory of the blue clan, Factar joined with the clan to mantain order. He was 46 when he took an interest in Lilian, neice to the then emperor of Kataz. The relationship led to the birth of Blaze and Chaos. Factar raised Chaos and left Blaze to her mother. Factar taught Chaos how to use dragon fire. He tryed to prevent Chaos from meddling with the Chaos fire. Factar was not able to keep him from getting injured by the fire. The incident also led to injuries to Chaos's nanny Sophia. Factar knew that chaos fire was a life and death based force. He knew Sophia could be saved by creation of life, but the price would be the fire's child. He decided to protect Sophia until he found another way. Factar later found out that Chaos took pitty on Sophia and mated with her. Chaos didn't know the cub would be the death fire child. Factar sealed Sophia and her son from the rest of Kataz. He knew the child could not be killed. Kataz would be safe if the cub didn't learn his origin. Factar spent some time watching over his grandson Tie when Blaze left him at his temple. Factar's immortality had always come with a price. He kept his distance from his offspring, but he needed their life force to sustain his. The red blue fire serpent sword which collects the life force energy sits over the black fire coldrun in his temple. It counter acts the life taking power of the fire. Factar's main goal now is to find a way to stop the death fire child from destroying Kataz.
