Half breeds rarely inherit the power. He was the only one of Pandi's cubs to grow up totally on Kataz. Blaze gave the throne to Coner when he was 15, After Coner became acting emperor he began working on Kataz's relations with near by planets. One such planet was Pantarda whose leader was a young panthertaur named La Niff Le. He met with her many times on a neutral space station called the Delic and despite what La's people thought of Coner they began to fall in love. Coner will not marry La Niff Le though, because neither of their planets have excepted their togetherness. They lived together on Kataz anyway and have had four cubs. Two cubs where lost to a complicating sickness leaving them with just Marcus and Ruda. Coner has alot of self pride, he is careful to stay in good shape. Coner believes strength is the way to face his enemies. He has dominative tendency to his family. This tendency has made La-Niff-Le more uncomfortable around him. She spends more time with their cubs to her home world. The Katazian people have begun to move against half breed rule. His half brother Tie is the only true Katazian royal son, the people have moved to push his rule. Evil forces have conspired to eliminate the royal family ,but Coner will fight to the death to defend his family and his throne.
