Eisteddfods
drawing near, talent quests and exams just around the corner and concert
preparation well under way. What a busy
term it has turned out to be!!!!! Make sure you read this edition carefully so
that you know whats going on over the next few weeks.
TAP EXAMS
We are busily getting ready for our eisteddfod on the
29th of September. I am
still yet to receive confirmation times, but I will put them on the board as
soon as I hear. Stargirls costumes will
be ready this week, so make sure you return your yellow envelope. No costumes will be handed out until they
are paid for. E.T. classes should be
getting their jeans from Target. You
will be receiveing an envelope to return with the money for your top. Remember everyone should have camel jazz
shoes (except boys). We will be having
a dress rehearsal on the last Thursday of term in your class time so make sure
you don’t leave costume arrangements til the last minute. We will also be having an extra lesson the
day before the competition.
REHEARSAL - Saturday the 28th of September
10.00- 11.00 The Stargirls
11.00- 12.00 E.T.
Still waiting on the date!!! Hopefully we will have it soon.
It is very important that you do not interrupt classes by opening the door during the lesson (except to help change shoes). This distraction has been increasing over the last term. We will be having our watching day for Wiggle and Giggle classes on the last week of term as per usual. It is a good idea to bring your videos, so you can practise the concert routine at home correctly. Thank you.
FUNDRAISING
Thanks to everyone for making our ‘buy a star’ fundraiser so successful and congrats to the winners. The money raised will be put towards buying better lighting, professional sound and props for the concert. The taste testing fundraiser is being organised to pay for our christmas party.
CHRISTMAS
PARTY
The date for our Christmas party will be Wednesday the 11th of December after school hours. This will be combined with the Sutherland branch. We like to provide an outdoors party with rides, sausage sizzle, drinks, dj, lollies etc for the kids. Hopefully we will raise enough money before then to fully cover the costs of this fun social day for all students.

Congrats and good luck also goes to Karla Soondrum (Janet in Pop 101) who is now in her third round of call backs for the professional production of the Lion King. We all have a good feeling Karla!!
Happy
Dancing!!! Keep watching the whiteboard!!!
