What a
great second term for planetdance!!! We
hope everyone has a fabulous holiday and comes back ready to get stuck into our
concert preparation.
STATE OF
ORIGIN
Miss Jade was so proud of all of you who participated in the State of Origin at Stadium Australia. We know you had a great time and we hope to provide you all with more of these opportunities in the future. The sponsors and entertainment managers of the event were all very impressed with our performance.
G.A.S WORKSHOPS
Congratulations to all our starlets who benefited
from our winter workshop. It was great
to see that all of our students were so talented not just in their dancing but
also their singing, modeling and stagecraft.
A special mention to all of you who won the opportunity to be a part of
the Miranda Fair Parades on the27th and 28th of
July. Yay to Lachlan, Imogen and all of
our mini-models for being so brave and strutting their stuff with absolutely no
fuss backstage. We know that you really
got a lot out of the workshop and we will keep you all posted with the dates of
our summer holiday G.A.S workshop.
BALLET CLASSES
Our extra
ballet classes will start from next term!!! Grade 1 and 2 ballet will now also
be held on Thursday nights at 6:30 and Grade 3 and 4 will be held at 7:15. This class is for students who wish to take
on the extra class for exams or anyone who can’t make Friday nights but would
like to start ballet on Thursdays. Please
let Miss Jade know if you would like to join this class.
ADULT
CLASSES
Adult
classes are going well on Thursday nights.
Tap is from 8pm ‘til 8:30 and Jazz is from 8:30 ‘til 9:15. Come along and join in the fun.
Star-burst
The
starburst section this edition has to be dedicated to ChloeTaylor who received
a major award at the workshop showcase.
Chloe was a favourite of all the teachers and wows us with her
enthusiasm, dedication and amazing hula hooping skills. We know she will
benefit from the free summer workshop she receives.
MENAI MARKETPLACE TALENT QUEST
If you are
looking for something to do in the holidays, the Menai talent quest is on at
the Marketplace. Go and cheer for our
planetdance and Sutherland students.
Grand final is the last Saturday of the holidays.
