i guess it's just so true of what they say,
nothing ever lasts between two people,
i could only wonder why oh why,
love is all they need, it's so simple.
i traced back all the memories we had,
the way you smiled, cared and made my heart tore,
and yet i ask myself all over again,
why do i hold on to it if sadness is all it bore.
those three words you always told me,
i knew you meant them, then,
but now i guess it's all just a phrase,
hopefully you'll realize it means more but when?
sweet moonlight walks and stolen moments,
the atmosphere then still as fresh as can be,
feelings of excitement replays itself,
it was the only moment i ever felt so free.
before i end this misery for tonight,
before i stop writing my last hopes and dreams,
i shall say that i've missed you so,
but a cold shoulder is all you'll give me it seems.
