The Executive Officer, like the Monarch is appointed for life. Like the Monarch, the Executive Officer may be removed by a 70% vote of the people. The Duke/Dutchess serves a term so long as the people desire them too. The Duke/Dutchess must receive a majority vote of the people of their Republic as is dictated by the constitution of that Republic.
