Lucky Stars XXVIII
Building Log for FAA
I want 4" checkers, so I cut strips 4 1/2" After both colors were cut, strips were sewn together using the 1/4 inch mark on the edge
Again measuring 4 1/2 inches , with 1/4 inch marks on the edges , cut strips the other way
Sew the checkered strips together,I made sure each square was tucked tightly together when they were sewn, or a hole and other problems would make it look bad
The seats balance out the tail feathers
I was going to continue the checkers from the back seat, over the fuel tanks , but I thought I'd be drowning the thing in checkers. So I drew some flames...and after some experimenting, this is what I came up with
I've gotten some nice compliments on the job.
The fuel tank cover has Velcro all the way around it, and it has 5 heavy duty snaps at the back of the seat for a little extra saftey to keep it from going into the prop
