I was born in 1964 in a village near the town of Rousse. I finished the technical school of "River Ship Building and Navigation" in Rousse in 1982. I served in the army for 2 years - from 1982 to 1984, in Sofia. In 1984 I started work in Rousse in the plant of "Dunarit", where I worked as a machine operator.
In 1987 I started in the Technical University of Varna, my specialty was "Computer Sciences". I graduated in 1992 and since then I work as a software developer. I'm not married.

• At "PlanSoft GmbH."
  
  • EasyKat - May-October 2001 - MFC application. A graphical tool for building electronic catalogs.
• At "Thermal Power Plant" - 2000 - Network Administrator for Windows NT, Novell NetWare and Linux networks; DBA for MySQL database server;
  • TxpData - March 2001 - MFC application.Used by dispatcher service of the Power Plant for browsing, merging, printing and converting of data files with monitored signal values. The data is generated by Simadyn D and Teleperm XP systems. The tool allows data to be filtered by time. By merging is possible two or more monitored signals to be compared.
  • Intranet site - November 2000 - Designed WEB interface, write the Server side scripts in PHP4 with MySQL interaction. Client side programming - HTML, Javascript.
• At "Himel Technology" LLC
  
  • DataCraft - 1998 - MFC application, a GUI tool for administering MS SQL and Sybase database servers.
    Includes: interface as Windows Explorer for displaying multiple database servers and their objects, with Drag/Drop capabilities; Extract, Migrate, Import and Export of data and objects; Entity / Relationship diagrams with SQL script generator, ISQL with syntax coloring. Object Viewers and Wizards for creating all types of objects.
    My role in this project was a software developer.
  • DocMan - 1997 - MFC application for storing and managing documents in MS SQL and Sybase database servers.
    The documents are stored in hierarchical system of folders, like a file system. The Administrator of the system grants rights to the users: who can read, modify or delete the documents. There were also functions like Document Flows, etc.
    My role in this project was as C/C++ developer.


• At "Water Supply and Solutions" - 1995 - we designed, developed and started the billing system.
  This system is the backbone of the organization - it carries for all the information about the usage of water from civil and organizations, and all the payments for water. It's developed under MS FoxPro for MSDOS and works in a local network Novell NetWare. The database is separated in 5 physical locations: Varna and 4 centers in the district, and the most important information is synchronized at regular intervals. The main part of the payments are done by the "Remote Offices", mainly located in the post offices around Varna. The system is an integrated part of all the business activities of the company, so it has automated procedures for data import/export with the accounting system and other business systems, working in the company. The billing system exports and imports data to and from DSK and some other banks to provide possibilities for payments by bank accounts. The system is very stable - it uses the built-in possibilities of MS FoxPro to use the Transaction Tracking System of Novell NetWare 3x. The system is fast - all the data about all people in Varna and in the District (about 200 000 families) are held by this system, so all payments, reports, are done in real-time mode too.
  In this project I was the Project Manager and System Analyst, but some of the modules are written by me too.



• At "SiS Technology" - I worked in this company till 1995, but after that I continued working with them as a contractor.
  • 2000 - Recipes - MFC application for building recipes.
    This utility is a part of the accounting system, developed by the company. The application is designed to build recipes: recursive structures of data, describing the contents and proportions of elements, needed to build the defined quantity of the end products. All this info is needed for a couple of reports and calculations.
  • 1999 - CashReg and CashServ - MFC applications.
    This is a POS system, which drives fiscal printer. The both modules are multithreaded applications. CashReg is connected to CashServ via TCP/IP. The server part cares to send the prices to CashReg and stores the sales in the database, etc. The system works in Picadilly, BigShop, Boila and some other large supermarkets in Varna, Plovdiv, Burgas and other towns in Bulgaria. I developed both modules: the Client and the Server parts.
  • 1994 - BanKing - MFC application.
    An accounting system for banks, developed for the "Primorska Popularna Banka". Later this system was adapted for small companies, and now it is sold in Bulgarian market under the name of McMaster. In this project I was a C/C++ developer.
  • 1993 - an earlier version of the billing system for "Water Supply and Solutions" company.
    DOS application, written in C. My role in this project was as a developer.
