Character Age: 966 years old
Physical Description of Character: Helios, monstrous in size, is 6 ft 10in with a thick robust figure of bulging muscles, weighing 263 lbs. He looks like a gorilla. His voice is low and rough, the air seems to rumble when he speaks. Helios�s hair looks like cascading night, dissipating at the height of the shoulder. His face is bold and sharp and his eyes are a cold dark blue. A lengthy black cloak draps over his body. Helios wears a black leather jacket covering a white tank top and black leather pants and boots. On his silver studded belt there is a silver belt buckle of a gargoyle. There is a severe scar on Helios�s chest over his heart it looks like a sun. Directly over his heart there is a perfect discolored yellow circle, which stands out from the rest of the brown scar tissue. Around the circle are the pointed rays of the sun. Helios carries with him a golden .50AE 6-inch Desert Eagle Mark XIX pistol, which he calls Phoenicis. His gun is his main weapon when he is not carrying his large axe.
Character's Personality: He his quiet and brooding with a deadly temper, which explodes when he is pushed to the limit. Helios is controlling and patient only when everything is going his way, but if things are not as he planned then he becomes rash and violent. He prefers little company, but will place is absolute trust in only a select few, whom he has known for a long time. He moves most comfortably in the darkness and shadows.
Character's Background: Helios was born to a corrupt aristocratic family. They were curl people, who beat and mistreated Helios. Helios turned away from the world and hid from himself. He hated everyone, believing everyone to be the cause of his suffering. His family was eventually caught and accused of practicing witchcraft. Helios�s parents and older siblings were hung, but he was ten and thought still innocent. He had been tainted he had no heart.
No one wanted to be associated with the Athanasius family and so did not take Helios in. He was left alone to fend for himself on the streets. He grew strong, fighting for shelter and food among the city streets. He was ruthless in his tactics and soon a gang formed around him. Through this gang he acquired necessary food and shelter. The dark magic his family had been practicing was in his blood and he felt and times the presence of his dead kin. Helios still had books from his family. He had taken the books with him so that he might have something to remember them, for although they tortured him he had developed a twisted association with them, a malformed love. Helios began to study them, guided by his dead family members, who taught him to read the writings. His grasp of the meaning and the power of the words grew quickly. His dead kin seemed to have a plan and they seemed to be using Helios.
Helios grew to the age of 25 his small gang had grown to a powerful cult, a menace amongst the land of kings. He had become a demigod, but he was far from satisfied, he wanted immortality. Using his knowledge of dark arts he acquired a unicorn. He began a ceremony where he tapped into the unicorn�s healing magic, concentrating it in the alicorn (unicorn�s horn). He severed the alicorn from the unicorn when the unicorn was completely empty of magic. Taking the alicorn, Helios thrust the alicorn into his heart. For a moment he was dead, but the alicorn brought him back to life. Now immortal he had the ultimate power for domination at his hands. Yet his legacy was far from reaching its pinnacle.
Necaz Razven visited Helios soon after Helios became immortal. Necaz offered Helios greater power under one condition. Helios was to destroy the following he had gathered so that Helios would start fresh under Necaz. The manslaughter of Helios became legend while Helios became Necaz�s dark priest. Now in the age of technology Helios fights to summon Necaz back to earth.
Character's Abilities: Helios is incredibly strong and he is surprisingly agile for his size, although not incredibly fast. He is adept in fighting with the axe and accurate with the gun. Helios also likes to crush thing with his hands.
Helios also knows dark arts. He has memorized and can read many archaic scriptures, allowing him to perform ceremonial summonings of demons or even more powerful creatures. He knows other ceremonies but not many, but it was his knowledge of ceremonial magic, which allowed him to become immortal.
Helios�s immortality is granted to him though the alicorn in his heart. As a side effect he has accelerated healing, injuries sealing almost instantly depending on the degree of the injure. He has even regrown limbs and survived life threatening wounds without treatment, the process taking several weeks to several months. The only sure way to kill him is to cut out his heart or cut off his head. He could possibly be suffocated but even then he still might live.
Character's Weapons:
His weapon is a double Bladed Halberd with a black staff and striking sleek silver blades. The blades look like the crooked wings of a raven and in between the blades is a claw clasping an ominously black crystal. The crystal is clouded yet transparent, a shifting opaque texture.
