| Ok, I could have written for hours on this topic and I did end up cutting out nearly 100 words to fit the 300-500 word criteria. I just think Bush is an idiot. That's all. | |||||||||
| Advanced English 11 Request Form Essay A Most Worthy Cause Is There are a lot of worthy causes in the world today. These causes vary from different parts of the globe and different cultures. Fighting world hunger, battling AIDS, solving third world debt, providing relief to Africa and the Middle East, and of course continuing the struggle to understand our fellow man. This leads to what I believe to be the worlds most worthy cause, and that is to remove George Bush from the presidential office of The United States. Bush is a menace. He possesses no empathy, very little patience, and hes not exactly the brightest crayon in the box (If we dont succeed, we run the risk of failure.). For proof of his utter contempt for human life, one simply has to turn to the statistics of death row during his tenure as Texas Governor. The man never pardoned a single person. Personally, I can not stand behind a person who is so cold toward his fellow man. Convicted murderers or not, the state has been known to make mistakes in the past. This alone should warrant inquiries. Turning now to his lack of patience, anyone can clearly see that Bush has a potentially terminal case of John Wayne Syndrome. This means that he is a war pig, believing war to be a glamorous and noble undertaking. War is grim, and it seems that Bush doesnt realize this, although I think he does. Bush is blood thirsty. He is relentless in his pursuit of war in the Middle East, whether it be against Iraq or Afghanistan. These places mean nothing to the man; they are simply faces pinned to the ghost hes chasing. He has even kept the horrible policies the last administrations had about Iraq. Hmm the people are unhappy because of the fascist dictator running everything, a man who is starving and spontaneously killing large numbers of them. How can we solve this problem? I know! Kill some more of them, then trap them in the cage with the lion by imposing horrible sanctions on the country! That should work! There is nothing more dangerous than a stupid person in power, and that is exactly what Bush is. The man may have gone to Yale, but to think of how he got in really makes me laugh. To this day I picture Mr. Burns from The Simpsons trying to bribe his sons way into the very same ivy league college (Uh, for these kind of test scores we would require an airport as a bribe. He spelled his name with a six.). To his credit, Bush managed to maintain a C average while experimenting with drugs and alcohol. Perfectly groomed for political scandal, I would say. In conclusion, the worst threat facing freedom today is not terrorism. The greatest threat is the American president himself, a man lacking in intellect, tact, and empathy. In my opinion, the man must be removed from office, or we are all quite possibly doomed. |
