Pinoy Website of the Month Awards Information

Doing a website is not just a science, it is most especially an art. Webmasters (especaially teenagers) deserve not just recognition but most especially some AWARDs for their efforts on working on a good personal site.

One day, I was surfing the net and found some good websites. I thought the creator/s of those sites deserve recognition These is how the idea of giving awards for Filipino amateur webmasters came in to me. A lot of Filipino websites on Geocities and other similar websites are award-winning and yet they don't get the recogniton they deserve (e.g. visitors don't even manage to sign guestbooks).

But now, Filipino webmasters could get what's right for them. The Pinoy Website of the Month will be given monthly to the Filipino website which I and the viewers think as the best. Forty percent of the final scores will come from the viewers. While the rest 60% will all depend on other technical features of the website.

If you think you deserve thePinoy Website of the Month, it's easy to nominate yourself. Just add in you website on my list of websites. I'll choose the 5 best and for two weeks, two websites will be eliminated thru a voting process. The two website that will be get the least vote will be eliminated and the 3 remaining will be battling for the title.

I hope to see your website on my list pretty soon.Thanx!
