READING
I enjoy reading magazines, novels, story books etc.
My favourite magazines are Woman'sera & Femina.
It is said, "books are the best companion".

WALKING
I like evening walk.
I usally go for a walk.
I feel healthier and fresher after walking.

PLAYING
I like and enjoy playing.
Playing (outdoor & indoor)is a great fun.
My favourite game is Badminton.
I play every day at least an hour with my family.

COOKING
Cooking is an art & fun too.
I try to cook new dishes.
I am fond of cooking.

Some of my favourite recipes

INGREDIENTS
2 cups wheat flour, 1 cup gram flour, water for making soft dough, 1 big onion chopped, 2 green chillis chopped, 11/2 tbsp ghee, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
Spicy Onion Paratha

METHOD

Mix wheat flour, gram flour, onion, green chilli, salt, garam masala and chilli powder. Add enough water and knead to make a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal balls. Roll each ball into a small round, apply a little ghee, fold it and roll it again using dry flour. Cook the paratha on a heated griddle (tava). Apply ghee on both sides till it is golden brown.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 1 cup semolina (suji)
  • 1 cup sour curd
  • 3-4 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp sodium bicarb
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves (chopped)
Dhokla

METHOD

Mix gram flour & semolina (suji) with the sour curd and add salt to taste. Leave aside for 30 minutes. Grease a rimmed thali with the oil. Add sodium bicarb or eano in the mixture and mix it well. Immediately pour the mixture in thali. Steam in the steamer or a pressure cooker without the lid untill a knife comes out clean when pierced in the center of the dhokla. Allow to cool and then cut into desire shape. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds & chopped coriander leaves then garnish dhoklas with this mixture.
