About National Flag
India's national flag has three colours-Saffron at the top, White with a chakra in the middle and green at the bottom. Saffron is a symbol of sacrifice and bravery. The white stripe stands for truth, purity and simplicity. The green colour represents life and prosperity.
About my country (India)
India is a republic. On January 26, 1950 India became a republic. Since then we have been celebrating this day every year as a Republic Day. Also,India won freedom on August 15, 1947. Since then we have been celebrating the Independence Day every year. They both are known as the National festivals. India has more than 1 billion population. It is the second most populous country in the world. There are 14 official languages in all, but English & Hindi are the main languages which are spoken by most of the citizens. India is a very beautiful country. I am proud of my country.

Taj Mahal was bulit by emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is situated in the bank of Yamuna in Agra, India. It is one of the seventh wonders in the world.
India Gate, a majestic structure, 42 metres high is set at the end of Rajpat in New Delhi, India. It is a popular picnic spot during the Winters and Summer evenings. It was built by Lutyens. It was originally called "All India War Memorial" in the memory of 90,000 Indian Soldiers who died in the campaigns of World War I.

Several festivals are celebrated in India. But Diwali & Holi are the most important & main festivals of them.
"Diwali"is the festival of lights. It is celebrated in October or November every year. It is celebrated in honor of Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile.
"Holi"is the festival of Colours.It is celebrated in March every year. On this day people throw coloured water and rub the faces of one another with powder called "GULAL" and forget their enemity with one another.This festival really celebrated with great enthusiasm.
