PKU News Update - Skills - 8.28.01

How yall doin?   Well, news is kind of slow right now for pku, so I thought I'd to a little story on skills for all the new guys, and the older ones....  First thing you want to do when starting your Mr, is skill cap.  What I mean is getting to 700.0 total skill points.  You do this by buying skills from vendors.  It usually costs around 5k to cap.  Make sure that you buy all the skills that you want to have in the end, so you don't have to buy them later.  But don't buy Musicianship, or Arms Lore.  The reason for not buying them is because those are the two skills you need to get 100 str, 100 dex, and 25 int.  If you are a mage then you will want 100 int and 25 dex, but don't worry about mages for now, most of you will probably just use warriors because its a lot cheaper, and a lot easier for learning pvp.  Then you want to lock every skill.  At this time you should have Musicianship 0.0 and Arms Lore 0.0.  

Ok, from here the first thing you want to do is look through your skills and find one that you don't want to keep.  Then lower the arrow on that skill.  It should be the only skill that isn't locked.  Then make the arrow on Musicianship go up until it gets to 10.0 (.1 or .2 over is ok, but not much more).  Then lock the skill you just lowered for Musicianship.  So if you are doing this correctly, by now you should have every skill locked except for Musicianship and it should be at about 10.0.  Then you want to lower the arrow on Musicianship and raise the arrow on Arms Lore.  And then use Arms Lore until Musicianship is at 0.0, then lower Arms Lore and raise Musicianship.  The reason you do this is because Musicianship raises dex very fast, and its even faster from 0.0 to 10.0.  And Arms Lore raises str very fast, it also helps dex a little.  It should take about an hour or so to get to 100str, 100dex, and 25int.  Don't worry about getting exactly 100, 100, 25 because it will change so much when you are fighting that its no big deal.  Just get about 95 each and you will be fine.

Once you have done that you need to lower all the skills you don't want, and the easiest way to do this is to create a New Group and put all the skills you want to keep in it, and all the ones you don't just leave them in their own categories. Make sure all the skills you want to raise, there should be around 7-10 skills you want.  Ex - Fencing, Tactics, Parry, Anatomy, Healing, Resist, Magery, Hiding, something along those lines.  You probably want your char to have similar skills to that to stand a chance in pvp.  Once you are done with all of this, then get the weapon of your choice, preferably a week weapon.  Fencers use Daggers, Swordsman use Hatchets, Macers use Practice Mace if available, or something along those lines.  And also get about 500 bandages for healing.  Then go to the Brit sewers and start killing frogs and rats.  Its really boring, but you will get good skill raise, up to about 70ish, and if you are smart and healing all the time, you should be over 60 healing.  If you run out of bandages or money, just skin all the frogs you kill and get their hides, cut them into leather and sell them at the leather shop.  

Once you have completed those steps you are ready to fight some Energy Vortexes.  It used to be easier, we used to fight blade spirits, but they got nerfed and they suck now so we fight energy vortexes.  You will probably get GM in your skills in about 2 hours after we start this, but it might be different now because they removed power hour from UO.  But Im guessing that it won't be too long of a training if you do it right.  This is how all the elfs in PKU have trained so far so I'm telling you from experience that this way works.  3x gm in 3 days, its not a bad deal.   If you have any questions about this please just icq me, and I'll help you understand.  And we will help you with the energy vortexes, we won't make you try to summon them by yourselves with almost 0 magery!  hehe.  Ok, talk to you all later!  See Ya!

PKU News Update - Welcome Mr Joshua! - Guild Meeting - 8.27.01

Sup everybody?  First I'd like to apologize for not being able to attend the guild meeting on 8.24.01.  But I will surely be at the next one.  Well it looks like Peepers, and Giggles are back in stat loss after the big guild meeting.  So they both have a few hours of macroing to do.... :(  Giggles and I were able to recruit a new member over the weekend, he started playing UO back in the day, but hasn't played for a while.  His name is Mr Joshua.  He's going to be a good asset to our clan.  Welcome Mr Joshua!  You RoXxoR!

Tonight I will be getting Mr Joshua started, and giving him everything he needs for his training....   Any help anyone wants to provide me is much welcomed.  Just so you all know, there are two houses in the desert for sale.  One inbetween Giggs and Peeps, and the other just to the right of Peeps I believe.  I'm trying to get a house in fel desert, I'm just very picky...  Im going to try to either buy a blacksmith shop with patio in the desert, or a tower....  We'll see though, it just seems that everyone is moving out of fel desert!  

Also I got an e-mail from The Chosen One....  He is the guildmaster of the Dead Presidents, and he wants to war us!  He seemed pretty stoked about it, so I icq'd peepers to war the DP Chaos Stone.  Just so everyone knows we will soon be warring the Dead Presidents!  Other than that, there is no new wars.....  So still 30, not bad but we will improve!  We are going to be the number 1 warring guild in Pacific, and someday maybe out of every shard!

PKU News Update - Guild Meeting - 8.24.01

Waaasssssssaaaaaaa!!!!!!!  Well, tonight we will try to have a guild meeting....  key word is try, I know that Peepers, Giggles, MoNoXIdE, and myself will be there, but I don't know about anyone else.  I've e-mailed Rogers, Bubbles, and Cactus Jack, and I've also icq'd them.  So they do know about it, if they've been online at all.  Also Mr Giggles was doing a little pk'ing last night and he met someone that is from the same town as us!  So I think he will now be making a Mr to join our clan!  That's good, we need more members!  Well I guess the guild meeting will be around 10:00pm pacfic time, but Im just guessing so don't go by that time exactly.  Just get on icq, and if we are online you will see us.

You guys know what sucks?  We don't have anymore wars today than we had yesterday!?  What's up with that?  People just won't accept our fricken wars!  I guess they're all just scared of us.  I don't blame them though, you guys scare the sh#t out of me!  Anyway, Giggles got out of stat last night, and then he pk'd again and then got ganked.... (story on pics page) So he will be out of stat today about 5:00pm pacific time.  Hopefully he is right so tonight we won't be dead and in stat loss when we are pk'ing.  That is IF we have the meeting....

If you couldn't tell already, we are not the most organized pk'ers ever....  But hey, its kind of fun when you've got a bunch of elfs running around and killing people, and they all have their own fighting style.  We're not like the guilds that have everyone follow commands, and do the same thing.  Most of the time we just run up and gank!  Or we are by ourselfs and we get majorly ganked....  But getting ganked is half of the fun!

So anyway, tonight is a meeting for anyone who can make it...  Or to anyone who wants to come, even guilds we are warring, come to our meeting!  So also if you want to declare war on us tonight we will be online to accept it!  We do check our stone everyday for wars just so everyone knows.  Also, most of our new members are still newbish chars so come and gank us!  Lol this will be a fun meeting!  I hope to see you all there!  Have a great night everybody, I'll talk to you all later!  See Ya!

PKU News Update - New Wars - Precasting - War Room - 8.23.01

Sup everybody?  Good news today, 3 new wars!  We are now warring CFH - Cowboys from Hell.  Hell ya!  Also UD - Seekers of the Unspoiled Blood (undead), and Wyt - The Art of WAR.  We are now warring 30 guilds which would put us 6th if we had enough members.  Also, we lost a war last night, GC - Grey Conclave, Stratagems of the Insane.  Does anyone know why they stopped warring us?  I don't think they even had a reason for stopping the war.  Well anyway, that's ok we are still rockin!  Lots of new wars, and new members to be inducted soon....

Also Mr Giggles informed me that Precasting is back!  It's about damn time for that to be back, but better late than never.  If you can't figure out how it works, try casting a spell then putting a weapon in your hand. You can attack and still cast the spell.  I think the weapon might pop out of your hand, but you can just arm it again really quick.  Mr Giggles was running around last night in the desert looking for someone to murder, but nobody was there.  I guess they all moved out since we moved in.  I have noticed a lot of fel desert houses for sale, maybe there is a connection....  You think?  Its like, "Oh f#ck the elfs moved in down the street.  Well there goes the neighborhood."  Maybe we should start bringing plates of brownies over to the neighbors.... We'll probably end up just killing them anyway but hey, its the thought that counts!  *jAnGLeS*

Mr Peepers moved the guildstone for PKU upstairs in his villa into the room.  The room is now the PKU War Room!.  There will be jesterhats, weapons, and armor for everyone!  I'll be putting pics of the War Room, and other pics on the Pics section of the site very soon.  I hope everyone is enjoying the new site.  From the e-mails and posts It seems that people are.  I do apologize for not having Pics or About done yet.  Also the Elfs will soon have more information by each one.  I just haven't had much time to gather much info.  You know with my wife about to have a baby and all, but at least the site is posted now!  Please keep letting me know about any problems/changes you think will help with the site, I really appreciate it!

PKU News Update - Peepers and Giggles - Stat Loss - 8.22.01

Well Peepers and Giggles were in stat loss, but I just got word from Mr Peepers that he is out of stat, and I just talked with Giggs and he's almost done with his stat loss time.  That means we can rez Giggs and start pk'ing with him again!  Also Mr Giggles informed me of a whole bunch of guilds warring us today when he was macroing his counts off.  That's awesome guys except one thing...  We don't have enough members to be on the rankings!  That SuCkSoRs!  Well that's ok because we are starting to do a little better with recruiting.  Also if anyone wants to join just fill out that Join Form and if your name starts with Mr chances are that you will get in.

Also I hope everyone enjoys the new pages I added - Wars, and About.  I don't quite have the entire site done yet, but its getting there.  So thanks for your patience.  If you guys have any ideas for the site about new pages or anything, just e-mail me and let me know!  I love the imput!  We are currently warring 28 guilds as of this morning, and that puts us at 5th.  And that's the highest we've ever been ranked in the UO Pacific rankings!  Congrats everybody, keep up the warring!

Well, not much else to say but please just keep recruiting if possible, and try to get some wars!  I know there are guilds out there that are warring guilds that aren't warring us because I've seen them.  Like I've said before, they can war us now, or we can just pk them.  Either way they have to duel us, and its a lot easier when they're orange.  That way we won't get as many damn counts!

PKU News Update - Welcome Mr Cactus Jack! - 8.21.01

Sup everybody?  I'd like to inform everyone of our new member, and also welcome him to our clan at the same time.  His name is Mr Cactus Jack, and we'll have more info on him in the very near future.  But I feel he will be a very valuable member to our clan in the future.  I will be posting his icq and also his char information as soon as I get it.  And Im also pleased to say that our site has gotten over 90 hits in the less than 24 hour period that its been posted.  And that's pretty amazing considering that there is nothing out there linking to our site yet.

Now time for the War update, we are currently warring 28 guilds, and that would put is tied for 5th if we had enough members.  That's ok, but we need more wars!  Everyone War PKU, we accept all wars, and we will probably most likely end up pk'ing you if you don't war us, so fight us now or then, the choice is yours!   ICQ Mr Peepers at 53776050 if you have any questions, or want us to war you right now!  

And congratulations go out to Mr Giggles and Mr Peepers for becoming our first perma-reds!  You guys RoxXor!  I know you guys are probably both in stat now, its just too bad this isn't siege!  Because I know that someone has about 16 hours of macroing to do....  lol

PKU News Update - New Site Up And Running! - 8.20.01

Well everybody, this is the new site!  I hope you all like the nice colors and the craziness of it all.  I really enjoyed creating this site, and I will be adding as much as I can, for as long as I can.  I'll try to update everyday, if I have the news to do so.  I hope you all like your own personal character pages, and if you have a web site you would like me to link to from your page, just icq, or e-mail me and I'll link your personal char page to whatever page you want.  I also have to apologize for not playing Mr Bojangles very much lately. Well, I have been playing him a little, but not pk'ing, I've just been doing skills.  I am almost done, and then I'll be back to raise some hell with you guys again!

PKU Is going strong right now, and we hopefully will be growing in the next few months.  We are have quite a few wars going at the moment.  27 to be exact, that would put us tied for 6th if we had enough members.  So please everyone, recruit some new members!  If you see someone that has the right name, (you know what it has to start with, or you wouldn't be in this guild) just walk up to them, and invite them in! Don't be shy!  Chances are, if they have a char named Mr something, they won't care if he fights or dies.  That's one of the bonuses of having a Mr!  And if someone wants to create a character, you know what to tell them about hair, beard, name, etc...  

Also, if anyone has any news to report, problems, solutions, or suggestions please don't hesitate to e-mail, or icq me.  I could use all the help I can get.  :)  PKU RoXxErS jOo!  And give me some feedback on how you like/dislike the site.  That would be much appreciated!  Also, if you've got pics of yourself killing people, that would be great if you sent those to me so I could post them for everyone to see!  And that way everyone could laugh at the person you killed!  Isn't pk'ing great!?  So just let me know what's up, I'm all ears!  Pointy ears that is!
