I dropped another pound. I hit the scales at 220.5. The amazing thing is that I didn't drop any more weight after I did my 5 mile walk this morning. It was very cool this morning and I didn't sweat as much as I normally do. I am down 27.5 pounds from July 15.
Lesson learned: This is a process. You start off small and then work your way up. I don't like telling people the end of the journey. All a person has to do is to focus on the beginning of the journey and follow in the footsteps of the person who has completed the journey. A lot of people don't like to do what is necessary at the end of the journey just by itself. However, if during the journey, you are prepared for the end, it isn't so bad.
Focus on the major things. Don't worry about the minor things. Don't major on the minors and don't minor on the majors. Follow behind somebody who has been there; somebody who is where you want to be. It has been said that for a person to go through a mine field, the best path is to step exactly in the footsteps of the person who has made it across.
