The weekend has been good to me. We pitched two softball games on Friday for our church's softball team. I walked ten miles on Saturday morning. I weighed in on Friday at 222 pounds and on Saturday at 221.5 pounds. This morning I maintained the 221.5 pounds without any exercise to keep it off. This makes 26.5 pounds since July 15, 2006.
Lesson learned: Success breeds success. When you have a victory in any area of your life, build on that victory. When you lose your first pound, move on to your second. Set a marker up when you have lost your first five pounds and then your first ten pounds. If you have lost ten pounds, you can lose twenty. This attitude will help you create a new lifestyle. Celebrate your victories. Shout them from the mountaintop or over then internet like me.
