Thanks!
This page is here to thank all those who have been an inspiration to me: friends, family, and web authors. Thank you all for your support and inspiration, since this site could not have come into existence without you!
Update (8/26/02) Would you believe it's been over six months since the last update? Not much to add here, really, but still...
Friends- Friends from school, past and present.
Serge Vorinin- Introduced me to Geocities in the first place, and taught me how to play handball, even though we hardly ever get to anymore.
Indira Jainanan- A major contributor of art to the site, friends since sophomore year of HS. Bow before the self-proclaimed "Lord of Darkness!" She will eat your soul like chewy pancakes!
Irene Lee (Wave-chan)- Quiet, shy, and kawaii ^-^. An amazing artist, too. Visit her page from the Links section!
Eden S. Foster- Just for being there when I needed you.
Phillip Chan- From way back in fourth grade ^^. Phillip is the human model for the character Phillip Lei in RSPK.
Katie Merril- A dedicated game freak, and no one can tell she isn't a guy. Always fun!
And others: Hakan (Gus), Sebastian ("Meemur"), Sara, Rosa, Lilly, Wessam, Matt, Lance, Richard, and everyone else I know but forgot.
Family- My family. Luv ya, guys!
Mom and Dad for obvious reasons ^_^
Jessi for being a demented little sister and teaching me to be insane.
Adam for being a demented little brother and carrying on the family tradition of nuttiness. Obi-Wan has taught you well.
Myself for my demented imagination that created all this in the first place...
Web Authors- Creators of great sites and/or multimedia like MIDI files.
Nadia Eisner, a.k.a. Lady Draco/Red Draco for her website and for great fanfics like "Zero Tolerance," "Bass is Not a Fish," and "Trip Through Your Wires" (incomplete but very promising). Plus, she's got the kind of demented sense of humor that runs in my family, and she's got it good. I owe some of my inspiration to her; reading her fanfiction got me stoked to fix up this old site and make it presentable.
Kim Samson, a.k.a. Maq, for her own great site and the idea to use the Secret of Mana MIDI that's playing on the main page here, as on her site. I submitted the sketch of Cryogen in the Artwork section to her, and she inspired me to keep drawing even though I'm very new to it. She is an incredible artist and a lot of her work can be seen on Red Draco's site. Maq owns no less than four sites and is planning a fifth for non-Megaman stuff.
Mandi Paugh for the definitive Megaman website, which has been around since the early days of the internet. Also for the term "Joe"- as in "Sniper Joe," "Skeleton Joe," etc. to describe those annoying one-eyed robots in the Megaman series that make your life hell. They had no names- well, none fit for printing, anyway- before that.
Jarel Jones for his truly incredible MIDI files. He sequenced MIDIs for a lot of great game series, including Megaman, Metroid, Final Fantasy, and others.
Sivak Drac, Maelgrim, Trevor Kuprel, Stephen C. King, Jorge Fuentes, Dave Choe, and others for their MIDIs, which add a touch to the RSPK Archives that would be missing otherwise. |
