Biography
��������Zora is Cryogen's mother and Sylvane's senior mentor. She is a respected marine biologist and is giving Sylvane hands-on experience as part of her training. The Glacien and Farallon families have always been close, and Zora is the adult Sylvane trusts most after her parents. The two have become good friends, and Zora knows of Sylvane's love for her son. She advises Cryogen to be more open to Sylvane, hoping he'll take the hint.
��������Zora's family is one of the oldest on Laranda. It can be traced back to times when a family name was based on the matriarch's elemental type, which would explain both Cryogen's dominant Ice type and Zora's own latent expression of the element.
Character Facts
- All Larandans can breathe water, but Zora makes a specialty of it. She has stayed underwater for several days at a time in her job, and can move nearly as quickly underwater as on land. Zora actually learned to swim before she could walk.
- Zora is not only a marine biologist, but also helped with the construction of several underwater facilities. She did a lot of volunteer work on a hydro-holon power station near her village, which now supplies most of the power used in that sector.
- Zora has invented (or possibly rediscovered) several swimming strokes which use wing power in addition to arms and legs. Her wings are unusually strong as a result, and she can fly faster than most teens and young adults.
