Biography
��������A mysterious spirit, Juno appeared because of a rip in the fabric of space-time. She claims to be Matthew's daughter from the future, and says that she has traveled to the present (her past) to make sure time flows on its normal course. However, her true motives remain unclear. Her quiet nature makes it even harder to determine what she's really after, and she hardly ever talks except to Matthew.
��������Lacking a physical body, Juno uses ectoplasm (ghost matter) to materialize on our plane of existence. She cannot manipulate solid matter directly, but makes up for it with her psychokinesis and strong magic. Juno actually exists in five dimensions, and she sometimes makes use of that fact to stop time for a brief period or travel through walls.
Character Facts
- Juno cannot be harmed by physical attacks in battle. However, she also cannot equip weapons, armor, or accessories, and her own physical attacks cause Psychic-type damage. This makes her ineffective against White-innate enemies.
- Juno is one of the speedier characters and can often get the first strike in. Pre-emptive attacks are more common when Juno leads the party.
- Juno's Japanese name of Hotaru was chosen as tribute to the creator of the Sailor Moon series. Tomoe Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) and Juno look very much alike (click to see), even though the creator of RSPK had never seen her when he first made Juno. They also share a certain dark, almost Gothic aspect (read about Sailor Saturn).
