When Coral was 13, she started her own Pokemon journey with Sapphy, her Chikorita, to become a Pokemon Master. She soon met Jay and demanded a Pokemon battle, which she lost. Determined to get her own back, Coral followed Jay on his own quest to become the greatest Pokemon Master of all. Though she wouldn't admit it at the time, she and Jay become very good and close best friends.
When they were both 18, Coral witnessed, among the other people in the world, Jay defeat the reigning Pokemon Master, Ash Ketchum. Admiting it only to herself, Coral was very proud of Jay that day. Determined to make her own Pokemon stronger and defeat Jay, Coral departs and doesn't return until six years later. Coral had grown up alot and matured in that time and no longer wishes to defeat Jay, only to meet up with him again and re-call on old times. Realising how deep her feelings were for Jay, she was thrilled when he proposed to her and was even more happy when they finally got married.
The proudest moment of Coral's life was when she and Jay became parents to Mina, Kiran, Lina and Halo. However, after Halo was born, Coral caught a deadly illness and died two days after Halo was born, she did however get to hold her new precious baby daughter before she died and got to tell her that she would always love her and be proud of her and always be with her. Coral's Pokemon, not being able to bare being without their dear companion, died the day after she did.
Coral and her Pokemon were buried together in her home town, Kairuki, under a pink blossom tree, which Coral loved.
Despite alot of people saying that Coral only married Jay for the fame, everyone who knew her and loved her knew that she married him because she truely loved him.
