Denial of Indian history

Be it the
Thanks to the internet we can now at least know that there was a case of deliberate deletion of our history by some forces. Considering the fact that our ancient mythological scriptures even had a manual on a pilot’s diet, leave alone their deep study on avionics. As we very well know Research and Development requires the bibliography of the topic which is being researched i.e. work done on that topic in the past (history). But the documentation of our ancient past itself has been whitewashed so the person and the society have not been able to mature and develop based on the knowledge of this ancient researchers and this deletion and denial continues to happen today.
Some body surely does not want us to learn from it, be self-respecting and mature as a nation, a society or a religion. Maturity would mean, with good knowledge and correct facts about a situation a consciences and unanimity in making a decision would be more likely , as people would be able to come down to specific inferences from the given facts which would help the community find the right direction. As the Hindu society is ignorant it does not recognize as a community that its self-respect is being hurt or certain political mileage is being taken out of a certain step. The politics is such that as Hindus are fragmented and ignorant. Parties use hook or crook to get the vote of a section of society. They then lure the Muslims as a community to vote for them by providing special incentives or—often—using Hindu bashing—literally and verbally—to acquire their votes in the name of ‘Secularism’. The word secular means an absence of concern with religion. We realize that this politics is anything but secular.
Some leaders in our country have been projected as gods. Their mistakes are never highlighted, but they are ignored and swept under the carpet in order to maintain the false image of their infallibility and intelligence.
Nehru’s incompetence and impractical philosophy came to the foreground in the 1962 Indo-China war with our rout Tens of thousands of our brave soldiers lost their lives, who were without food, proper clothing, by now obsolete First World War weapons of 1914. He once made a statement that displayed his foolishness succinctly for the entire world to see: he said that we did not need an army and that a police force was sufficient.
At the time of the war the American magazine Time
wrote “The Indian soldiers lacked every thing except guts”, without
any kind of supplies they died fighting the Chinese with buts of their obsolete
guns. More than a rout of
Nehru’s intense dislike for the
men in uniform was evident when he declared that no person in uniform should
join the ministry (this dislike was expressed in the form of hate and abuse). People
with little knowledge of defense requirements and strategies ended up rendering
the army as good as impotent. And at the time of the Chinese war statements
were herd from Nehru, such as “Throw out
the Chinese”, although he knew
that
Although this firmly confirmed that Nehru was an incompetent leader after eyebrows were raised on his incompetent handling of the Kashmir issue which he kept for himself (rest of the issues such as unification of smaller kingdoms after independence was taken up by Sardar Vallabhai Patel who showed us as to why his name contained the word Sardar by unifying the nation with competence and Forsyth) because of which India and Indian soldiers bleed till today.
If we look into our history books in schools today anything that is vaguely related to struggle against moguls or other Muslim rulers is deleted or given very little space. People, only after a certain level of maturity realize as to why the history in taught at school was so boring, uninspiring and demoralizing.
Prithviraj Chauhan who is supposed to be our hero and a martyr is
mentioned in a similar way mentioned in mogul writings as though he was a
militant and the enemy of the system. Even the great Shivaji finds a very small mention; he is portrayed in the way Prithviraj Chauhan has been portrayed.
We must thank our culture we are still told a few things about our history at
home (and now the internet). This kind of history is neither nationalistic nor
neutral and is aimed at appeasing a particular section of the society for
political gains which again confirms the politics of Muslim appeasement in
Culture is something with which we should connect with, swear by and be proud of, unfortunately so much pollution and deletion of our past has been done that in our base has been weakened tremendously and continues to be weakened till today.
Guru Tegh Bahadur’s martyrdom should be ‘the sacrifice’ to come out of a Hindu’s mouth if asked about greatest sacrifices in history, instead no one knows who is Guru Tegh Bahadur leave alone what he had done for us. The Sikh community has always worked for uplifting the human spirit be it Guru Nanak or the great Guru Gobind Singh. Although it faced inhuman treatment for not accepting Islam which was being forced upon them it remained committed strongly to its faith. It reveres the sacrifices made by its people and takes inspiration from history which strengthens its faith.
Aurangzeb’s dream was to convert whole of
The Guru asked the hindu leader to inform the tormentors that they
would be willing to accept Islam if Guru Tegh Bahadur could first be persuaded
to do so.
The Guru along with his aides was arrested at Ropar and taken to
Guru Gobind Singh wrote about Guru Tegh Bahadur’s death thus:
He broke his potsherd on the Delhi King’s head
And he left for paradise
None else in this world can match Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice.
The people mourned Tegh Bahadur’s passing away.
There was wailing in the world but rejoicing in heaven.
It was a strange irony of history. Two hundred years before Guru Nanak, at the age of nine, had rejected the sacred thread and admonished the bhramins who insisted in his wearing it. And now when he was thirteen years old, the tenth Guru suggested that his own father should go and give his life so that right of a community to wear the sacred thread and practice its faith was protected. This makes Guru Tegh Bahadur’s martyrdom unique in history. People give their lives for principles dear to them, ideals cherished by them and faiths they hold. There is hardely is hardely anyone who stakes his life for other people’s faith. (Reference: Sikh Gurus Their Lives and Teachings by K.S. Duggal)

According to Prof. K.S. Lal,
the author of the Growth of Muslim population in
One can safely add another 20
million Hindus to this list to account for the number that were killed during
the Mughal rule or the rule of the Muslim rulers in the
Nadir Shah made
a mountain of the skulls of the Hindus he killed in
We have films like
Mugal-e-Azam, Anarkali, or Taj Mahal which romanticize the Mughal rulers,
depicting them as great heroes of noble virtues oozing with kindness and love
for the humanity! The characters of Anarkali and Taj Mahal were next to Aurangazeb
in their persecution of Hindus and Sikhs. But people are made to see them as
romantic heroes and remember songs from these movies with great nostalgia! How
would it sound to make a romantic film on Hitler where he runs around
trees and sings romantic songs? (Reference: The biggest holocaust in world
history By V Jayaram)
Anyone who speaks for Hindus is deemed an incarnation of Hitler or is in
the process of being made one, and any group which speaks for Hindus are called
Neo-Nazis or are in the process of being branded Neo-Nazis!
We know that Hindus are in
majority in
Mongol general, Timur-i-Lang (Tamerlane) who invaded the Indian subcontinent in
1399. He starts his chronicle quoting scriptural inspiration in the form of the
following Qu'ranic verse:"9.73: "O, Prophet! strive hard
against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their
abode is hell, and evil is their
destination."
At a later stage, he boasts that he had 100,000
Hindu slaves in his
custody. When the battle with the Tughlaq king of Delhi became
imminent, his commanders advised him that "that on the great day of
battle these 100,000 prisoners could not be left with the baggage, and
that it would be entirely against the rules of war to set these
idolators and enemies of Islam at liberty." Therefore, "no other
course
remained but that of making them all food for the sword." And so, Timur
writes with charming candour: "I proclaimed throughout the camp that
every man who had infidel prisoners should put them to death, and
whoever neglected to do so should himself be executed and his property
given to the informer. When this order became known to the ghazis of
Islam, they drew their swords and put their prisoners to death. One
hundred thousand infidels, impious idolators, were on that day slain.
Maulana Nasiruddin Umar, a counselor and man of learning, who, in all
his life, had never killed a sparrow, now, in execution of my order,
slew with his sword fifteen idolatrous Hindus, who were his captives."
And thus did the obliging faithful acquire the coveted title of
"Ghazi"
--slayer of the infidel. That we Hindus havve survived a thousand—year pogrom
into modern times is in spite of
Islam, not because of it (if someone feels greatful to the rulers for their
love showered upon us). (By S.Ramakrishnan)
If a person after
reading this article feels that this article preaches hatred against other
particular communities and that the heinous crimes mentioned could not have
been committed just because we are still alive as a religion is using a flawed
logic. This is quite like denying the reality of
Hinduism, bases its spiritual
vision on a Unity underlying visible plurality.
Hinduism emphasizes the fundamental Unity of all existence. Hindus owe our
civilizational survival in no small measure to the heroic
efforts of the oft-reviled HINDU ANCESTORS of the modern Pakistanis and
Afghans.

Hindus were kept ignorant in the past Do we know that millions of Hindus have been killed in Bangladesh itself, leave alone the wipeout of Hindus from Kashmir valley .We must Today we often here from politicians in there speeches that people of India are very intelligent (sounds like playing a game with a kid (Hindus) where a lollypop (self-respect) is the reward)
