a quick, funny story before i go to bed...
at church, sometime during the worship service, the members of the congregation are invariably encouraged to greet the people sitting around them. what normally ensues is thirty or so seconds of hundreds of people saying hello to friends, or exchanging names and a handshake with others they're meeting for the first time. and then whoever happens to be leading praise or presiding over service will just continue. but today, the praise leader followed up his exhortation to greet one another, with an additional request that we extend this time by giving someone a hug as well!
now if i had been sitting next to the girl of my dreams, i would have introduced this journal entry as something other than, "funny." alas, i ended up sitting next to my friend, my homes, my brotha - martin kang. and we were the only people in our section.
so we hugged.
