PKG Seafoods PKG Seafoods is a family run business, located along the tweed river, comprising of three sections: the fresh shop, takeaway and restraurant.
Many visitors who come here, often ask this question: "What does PKG stand for?". If it's a new employee that they ask, that would simply reply that they don't know. That's because PKG has been here for so long that many have forgotton. However if you ask one of the older employee's, they will tell you that it was named after the origional owners - Paul and Keith Gibson.
PKG Seafoods started off as a Father and Son team, which was only the Fresh Shop and Takeaway back then. In 1990 there was a changing of hands. By then the business had built up quite a reputation, so the new owners felt it better to keep the name.
In 1995, PKG Seafoods, renovated and expanded to include the Restaurant. After furthur renovations, the Restaurant is now a lovely environment, overlooking the beautiful tweed river. Upon request, visitors here, may feed the Pelicans on the balcony outside the Restaurant. Since then, PKG Seafoods has undergone a number of renovations, the most recent being the carpark in the year 2000.
At PKG, we pride ourselves in selling you the freshest seafood on the coast, at the cheapest price. You can't beat quality.
Fish can be bought here to take it home or you can have it cooked in the takeaway. If you want it cooked, just tell the cashier that you want it cooked in the takeaway, and they will charge you a small cooking fee.

You can have your fish cooked here from the takeaway or just order off the board. We have a small selection of fish, but whatever we don't have, you may buy from the fresh shop to have it cooked here.
If you buy your fish and chips from the takeaway, you can also pay a small corkage fee to eat it in the restraunt.
The Restaurant is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. With reasonable prices and warm service, it is a great place to take your friends, family or those you want to umm... get to know better. BYOG - Bring your own grog!

If you live in the Tweed Region of Queensland (Australia) then you could have your seafood delivered to your door, or order ahead and pick it up. You may order anything* from the Fresh Shop, Takeaway or Restaurant.
We also take pre-orders for Christmas and Easter, please phone for more details or to place your order.
*Please note that all delievers will only be taken from the special delievery menu - not the normal takeaway menu, anything extra may incurr a fee.
