Sorry for the big picture, but again I could not resist giving you a high-res view. This is an appartment building of 20 floors. The fire-stairs have a small balcony on the North side at every floor. All the other sides are occupied by the appartments. These pictures were taken from this balcony.
This is the view to the West. You can see the Alexandrium shopping-center, the railway to Gouda and Utrecht and the local power-station. It was a splendid sunny and clear evening. Using my binoculars (10*50) I could see the longest distance I've ever recorded:
This is the view North. In the distance you can see the appartment buildings in Ommoord that I described previously (1,4 km).
