Appartment building - Boompjes
Regenboogkade

This is the view from the 24th floor. You are looking North-East in the direction of the Central Station.

The high building in the background (left of center) is called "Gebouw Delftse Poort". It is the office of the "Nationale Nederlanden" insurance company. It is the highest building in the Netherlands at this moment (151 m).

Jan van der Meulen set a Dutch record when he abseiled from the building-crane that stood on top of this building. He used a 170m rope.

The white, triangular building in the foreground is the Maritime Museum. The ships that you see in the water belong to this museum. The street in front of this museum is often used by skaters. I suppose because there are concrete blocks to jump from and because it is dry when it rains.
