One of my dreams was to decorate my own wedding cake with real flowers. The cake designer at the Capitol Plaza at first said no, but to my surprise after I returned from the hair salon, the wedding coordinator told me they had something waiting for me in the ballroom. I walked in and saw our cake without the flowers we had discussed... sitting on the table beside the cake was an open bouquet of loose cut red roses! They said they wanted me to fully enjoy my wedding day! As I was arranging and cutting the roses, my Dad walked in with Hannah. So, Hannah watched Auntie Lindsey decorate her cake. It was a sweet moment for me... that was one of many beautiful moments from our wedding. The hotel helped make it meaning and special! I so appreciated the wedding coordinators taking the time and effort to enable me to do something I'd always dreamed of!

The Departure for the Cermony...
The girls all looked beautiful in their crimson colored dresses! We took family pictures and pictures without the guys prior to leaving for the ceremony. All seven of us piled into the Limo to ride to the Chapel. I remember it was so wonderful to be surrounded by such amazing women. Some tourists passing through Montpelier stopped to take a picture of us getting into the Limo - that is what we are laughing at in the photo above...
