The 1 Thing!

Think about this. Changing your color might be easy. Changing your religion may not be difficult. But it might be very difficult changing your mechanic!

I believe there is one thing every person holds sacred. That one thing is the basis of the person's sustenance in his world, that's what holds the person to this world, keeps him or her from going insane. Many compromises are made on other values and principles, all of which are secondary to this one thing. In fact any and every value or scruple is bent to varying extents to gratify that one thing!

So what happens when this one thing is violated? The person becomes unpredictable or unstable. Interestingly this one thing is different for everyone. So my one thing could be hmmm my Personal Computer, or it could be my mother (family or ancestry) or my lover, yours could be your daughter, your job or your community.
