you are going on a “field trip” back in time, to the time period
during which F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote this arguably finest and most beautifully
written American novel.

As you take this field trip through the 1920s, you will need to answer the
accompanying questions located at the bottom of each page and then later,
as we read the novel, you will relate your answers to the setting, characterizations,
and plot of the novel.
