STAR WARS

The Moon of Darkness

by PJ

Mara Jade eased back the throttles of the Jade's Fire, leaning back in her piloting chair as she beheld her destination.

The moon was a pock-marked orb of gray rock, a solitary piece of flotsam in a sea of night. Mara didn't feel anything special from the hanging moon, there were no emanations of the Force or the Dark Side. Mara smirked to herself as she guided the scarlet-hulled Scimitar fighter closer to the moon, the Sith were not fools, they wouldn't draw unnecessary attention to their little base by allowing stray tendrils of Dark Side energy to escape into the ether.

The Jade's Fire slid across the surface of the gray moon, Mara probed with her Force-senses and with the sensor suite of her starfighter, searching for a hatch or hanger bay.

After an hour-long sweep of the moon, Mara discovered a narrow hanger bay along the equatorial line of the orb. Mara bit her lower lip as she eased the Jade's Fire into the bay, extending magnetic clamps from the ventral hull that secured the fighter to the hanger's smooth, metallic deck.

Mara looked up sharply when silver deck lights snapped on across the empty hanger. Mara glanced at her short-range sensors, a magnetic field had activated across the bay mouth, pressure was building within the hanger. Mara's green eyes narrowed, the pressure stabilized, there was breathable atmosphere in the bay now, and more systems were coming to life throughout the once-dead moon.

Irek had said the moon was dormant for centuries, Mara couldn't imagine power cells lasting so long, perhaps someone had already found the ancient Sith base and maintained it for their own purposes. Perhaps it was Roganda, she hadn't been subtle displaying her displeasure with Irek's growing fascination and desire for Mara, maybe this was the former Hand's way of disposing of a thorn?

Mara shook her head, she had a mission to complete for the Heir to the Empire. The lithe young woman unbuckled herself from the piloting chair and stood up, the skin-tight black latex that covered her body squeaking softly as she left the tight cockpit for the starboard exit hatch of the heavy fighter. Mara stopped long enough for her weaponsbelt and a glow-lamp, she hung the wide leather belt over her curvaceous hips, checked to see that her lightsaber and blaster pistol were fully charged, then snatched the lamp and depressed the button for the hatch release.

The small ramp descended in a hiss of blowing smoke, Mara emerged onto the hanger's deck, drawing her blaster, green eyes raking across the quiet bay. The soles of Mara's boots padded across the gleaming deck as she walked to the closest bulkhead hatch. The heavy, blaster-proof hatch hissed up when Mara activated the door release, the young woman frowned, nothing was locked, the situation seemed much too easy. Crossing the hatch's threshold, Mara entered the black depths of the Sith moon.

The twisting, lightless corridors seemed to wind on forever, like coiling snakes in an orb-shaped nest. Mara took a moment to rest and lean against one of the smooth, obsidian bulkheads, a headache had been growing in her mind for over two hours, a simple irritation at first, but now it fairly throbbed. Mara rubbed her right temple with a fingertip, she moaned softly, then clamped her lips shut, surprised she had made such a sound. Pushing herself off the bulkhead, Mara played her lamp before her and resumed her exploration of the base.

Jaina Solo automatically checked her X-Wing's status displays after she emerged from Hyperspace. The Jedi girl frowned when she spotted a ship on her short-range scanner, she wasn't alone in this empty sector of space far from the established trade routes of the New Republic.

Jaina tapped instructions upon her cockpit console, sweeping a concentrated sensor beam over the unknown vessel. Jaina's scowl became a look of confusion, it has a Hapan pleasure yacht, what was such a vulnerable craft doing out here at the edge of the Outer Rim?

Jaina was a little startled when her comm system hissed to life.

"New Republic starfighter, this is Tenel Ka. Jaina, is that you?"

"Tenel Ka? What are you doing out here?" exclaimed Jaina, her brown eyes wide behind her flight helmet visor.

"I..I have been dreaming about the moon out there, I felt an uncontrollable need to find it," admitted Tenel Ka, her tone obviously one of embarrassment. "Why are you here, Jaina?"

"There was a sighting of Mara Jade in a nearby sector, the Jedi Council has been following the movements of several former Hands of the Emperor."

"You think she is in that moon?" asked Tenel Ka.

"Yeah," nodded Jaina, looking at the solitary moon that glowed with a webwork of azure strands.

"Do you wish to dock with my vessel?"

"Sure, Tenel Ka, we might as well solve this mystery together," grinned Jaina, her forehead crinkling with puzzlement.

The two girls hugged briefly when they emerged from their linked craft in the moon's hanger bay. Another craft rested in the hanger, a crimson Scimitar fighter.

"Could be Mara's," said Jaina as she looked up at the fighter, running her right palm across the scarlet hull.

"This place..is strong in the Dark Side of the Force," murmured Tenel Ka, her gray eyes flicking fearfully, her wiry arms wrapped around her torso.

Jaina narrowed her eyes and reached out with the Force. "Yes, you're right."

Tenel Ka walked to one of the hanger control consoles, she examined the displays and keys carefully.

"Jaina! This is Sith script!" declared the red-braided girl.

"This place is a forgotten Sith base?" replied Jaina, joining her friend and looking over the consoles. "That could explain Mara's interest in this moon."

"Why would Mara Jade want to explore a Sith base?" frowned Tenel Ka.

"The Jedi Council suspects Mara is working for Irek Ismaren, one of the bastard children of the dead Emperor," answered Jaina, her fingers slipping across the console keys before her.

"She would not!" denied Tenel Ka, her gray eyes large with disbelief.

"It is a fact," sighed Jaina, meeting her friend's stare. "If we find her, we'll probably have to fight her, can you do that?"

Tenel Ka lowered her head, she fingered the rancor-tooth hilted lightsaber hanging from her silver belt. "Yes, I will fight her if I must."

Jaina smiled wanly, "I knew I could count on you."

"We are warrior sisters," reminded Tenel Ka gravely, her gray eyes fierce.

The two Jedi girls kissed tenderly, then parted to approach the hanger exit hatch, Jaina taking the lead, Tenel Ka warding her left side. As the heavy hatch ground upward, Jaina unclipped her lightsaber from her gear belt, she fingered the activation stud, her heart heavy as she pondered the possibility of dueling with her former teacher.

Mara was paralyzed at the mouth of the catwalk. She gazed up at the enormous dome of the perfectly spherical chamber, filaments of blue energy pulsed from the glassy, obsidian walls, veins filled with pure Dark Side power. Mara lowered her awed face and stared down below the slender, silver catwalk, at the yawning bowl of the chamber's lower hemisphere. Mara brought her right palm to her forehead, she felt dizzy, her headache seared her mind, simply blinking sent pain through her temples.

Mara extended her slim, latex-clad arms and started crossing the catwalk, her green eyes dazed and heavy-lidded, her body swaying dangerously while she placed one foot in front of another. The matrix of Dark Side energy surrounding Mara pulsed faster and faster, Mara could feel the Dark Side flowing through her, caressing her, exploring her mind and uncovering every secret, every shame, every desire.

Mara reached the end of the catwalk. An entrance irised open in a perfectly featureless ebony sphere that floated at the chamber's heart. Mara didn't even think of preparing a weapon as she crossed into the sphere, the open portal melting shut behind her.

The sphere was a tomb. Resting in the center of the sphere's core was a long block of veined ebony, blue lines covered the sarcophagus, nourishing whatever slept inside.

Mara approached the sarcophagus, her scarlet lips parted, her eyes glassy as she rested her palms upon the coffin's ebony lid. The black stone was warm upon Mara's skin, she smiled dreamily and caressed the sarcophagus, the blue veins flared, Mara's hands tingled as the Dark Side flooded through her, stealing her breath.

Mara stumbled away when the coffin opened, blossoming like a black lotus, a sickly-sweet perfume tickling Mara's nostrils. Gray mist poured from the open sarcophagus, a trembling hand grasped the open lip, a naked form emerged.

"Mara Jade," smiled the lean man, his eyes bright and golden.

"Who..who are you?" whispered Mara, falling back against the obsidian wall of the tomb, her breasts heaving beneath her skin-tight suit.

"I am Morgoth," declared the black-maned man, striking a mock-pose. "I am a Sith Lord."

"There are no more Sith, the Emperor was the last one," protested Mara, her brow creasing as she struggled to think through her foggy mind.

"But others lust for our secrets, like your young Irek," smiled Morgoth, looming over Mara, reaching out to caress her trembling chin.

"You're..reading my mind?" guessed Mara, squeezing her eyes shut.

"Yes. Your defenses are quite useless, I see much knowledge has been lost through the centuries of my slumber," murmured Morgoth, leaning down to kiss Mara's lips.

Mara kept her eyes shut while the Sith kissed her. The naked man's lips were cold, they leeched the warmth from Mara's mouth.

"What..what are you going to do with me?" shivered Mara after Morgoth released her blue lips.

"You have always belonged to the Dark Side, even though you've never fully embraced it, Mara Jade. You belonged to your Emperor, and you belonged to his heir, Irek. You will belong to me, now."

Morgoth seized Mara's thin waist, he crushed her cold lips with his mouth, devouring her. Mara moaned weakly, her body limp and powerless as she was pressed against the naked Sith Lord. Morgoth's right palm grasped Mara's left buttock, he squeezed her ass through her slick, latex suit while he sucked on her soft lips, drinking the young woman's vitality, her lifeforce. Mara opened her heavy eyelids, she realized what Morgoth was doing. Mara's suspicion was confirmed when she felt the Force smash through her shivering body, Morgoth was feeding from the Force, using her as a conduit.

The Sith Lord gathered Mara's legs from beneath her and carried her boneless body to the open sarcophagus. Morgoth laid out Mara inside the ebony coffin, then he climbed in on top of her.

"Just relax and let me do all the work," smiled Morgoth, unzipping the front of Mara's skintight suit, his strong, cool hands slipping underneath the clinging latex to fondle Mara's warm breasts.

Mara returned Morgoth's smile, then she bit down her trembling lower lip, gasping as the Sith Lord pinched her hard nipples.

***

Tenel Ka stumbled, she caught the corridor wall at the last moment, her face flushed, her breasts pumping.

"What's wrong?" asked Jaina, quickly turning to support her shivering friend.

"The Dark Side..it is growing stronger!" gasped Tenel Ka, her forehead creasing with pain.

"I think we're getting closer to the core of this place," said Jaina as she helped Tenel Ka stand on wobbly legs. "Just hang on a little longer."

Tenel Ka nodded and gave Jaina a fragile smile. Jaina gave Tenel Ka a quick kiss on the mouth, then held the armored girl's cold right hand while leading them deeper into the corridor's depths.

***

Mara was moaning raggedly, her slim arms wrapped around Morgoth's corded neck as she bounced on his lap. Mara and Morgoth sat in the center of the open coffin, Morgoth hugging Mara's waist, suckling on her rolling left breast while his erection speared up into Mara's clenched belly. Mara pressed her crimson face into Morgoth's wide left shoulder, panting into his cool, white flesh, her nails digging into the Sith Lord's bare back. Driving his cock ever deeper into Mara's open cunt, Morgoth combed his right hand through Mara's sweat-slick red hair, he smiled at her, then kissed her roughly. Mara moaned softly, she caressed the tongue exploring her mouth, flexed her pelvis, slapping her crotch onto Morgoth's jutting pole. Morgoth enfolded Mara's smooth buttocks with his palms, he massaged Mara's ass as they bucked together. The torrent of Force energy flowing from Mara to Morgoth eased to a mere trickle, the Sith Lord was suffused with power, now he simply took his pleasure from Mara, tasting her hot flesh, delving into her yielding sex.

Mara arched her bare back, her slick breasts shuddering, her thighs open and drenched in vaginal honey as she rode the pale Sith Lord, rising to a mind-numbing climax.

Morgoth crushed Mara's perspiring body to his muscled chest, both lovers orgasmed as one, an explosive burst of Dark Side glory enveloped the naked pair within the ebony coffin.

***

Tenel Ka dropped to her knees on the catwalk. Jaina spun to help her friend, but stopped herself when the sphere floating in the center of the chamber irised open.

"We..we have to escape!" gasped Tenel Ka, her face soaked in clammy sweat, her fingers clenching the catwalk grill beneath her.

"There is no escape, young Jedi," smiled Morgoth, a naked, muscular god with flowing midnight hair, his body radiating with the Dark Side.

Jaina activated her lightsaber, the violet blade humming before her.

"Let's take him!" prodded Jaina, risking a brief glance over her left shoulder.

Tenel Ka was stretched out upon the catwalk, unconscious.

Jaina gritted her teeth and focused on her opponent. The naked man held no weapons, he simply walked towards the Jedi girl. Jaina rushed forward and leapt into the air, she slashed down at the bemused Sith, her glowing blade screaming through the air.

Jaina's lightsaber smashed into a Force-Shield. Purple lightning crackled around the Sith, Jaina was flung back, tongues of purple snapping through her small frame. Before Jaina could plunge to her death within the abyss below the catwalk, Morgoth snapped out his right hand, catching the senseless girl with the Dark Side. Curling his taut arm towards his chest, Morgoth brought Jaina to him, the limp girl eased into his waiting arms.

"You are a sweet thing," leered Morgoth as he clutched his newest prize.

***

The solitary moon exploded, chunks of gray rock hurled in all directions. Sailing through the shattered crust of rock, an enormous sphere ship hummed through space, its hull oily black, almost invisible against the backdrop of the void.

Mara emerged from an ebony lift, dressed in her snug latex suit, her movements slightly stiff as she crossed the deck. Morgoth sat upon a raised throne of black leather, his gold eyes half-closed as he guided the Sith vessel along its course.

"Where are we going?" inquired Mara from the side of Morgoth's dais.

Morgoth patted his thigh, Mara grinned and ascended the dais before climbing into the Sith Lord's lap.

"Home, my pet, I'm going home," said Morgoth, hugging Mara's shapely hips.

Mara kissed the Sith Lord, then looked out the wide view ports, eyes squinting when she noticed a titanic ring of ebony inscribed with Sith writing. Mara sensed Morgoth reaching out with the Dark Side, awakening the sleeping portal. The Sith runes flared upon the gigantic ring, the glowing marks started spinning, a vortex of blue fire erupted inside the circle, spinning off into Unknown Space.

"We're going to Sith space!" exclaimed Mara, looking at Morgoth wide-eyed.

Morgoth simply nodded and smiled. Mara clung to the Sith, barely breathing as the sphere ship dropped into the azure vortex, flinging across infinity to the realm of darkness.
