Route Five Falls

Natural beauty has always fascinated me.  It is the little things in life that  bring the  greatest joy.  No matter how many times I drive by this water fall in Vermont I have to stop and take pictures. The falls appear  almost out of  no where  right on the side of the road, you wouldn't  expect some thing  so beautiful to be that  close to the  road. Blink your eye and you could   drive right  by and never even  see it, but for those  aware, it is  a lovely sight.  With each season there are changes from the rushing  falls of spring, just a  trickle of  water in the  middle of summer, to the start of a few  frozen twigs near the falls base in late autumn, to solid mass of ice in the dead of  winter. Much to my surprise even an optical illusion of  ice formed  on the base of the water falls in late winter.
